It was annoying and hampering enough to teams when it was just SE STAB, but this...just kills it. This gives the gym leaders such an extreme advantage to where they don't even have to spend time teambuilding. They can just throw some sweepers on their teams and just wreck everyone. imo its kinda stupid :/ the leaders should have the ability to build a decent monotype team. They are leaders after all.

It's annoying to see someone complain because they can't compete and yet there have been several people who have had no problem with the rules. Guess there's one everywhere.

This doesnt give us an advantage at all, people before this were bringing full counter teams (which some still do) and pack those pokes with super effective moves now tell me how using 4 steels plus a toad/jellicent in rain is fair to a Bug team? Or people throwing SE moves on pokes just to do super effective damage to our monos like ranom rock slides on heatrans among others i have heard from other gym leaders. I have faced challengers with the new rule and theres barely a differnce . Challengers can still use counters to teams you could still counter type a whole gym mono just losing the Super Effective moves helps even the playing field for gym leaders since people brought all reists + SE moves. Between my 3 types as a leader ( Rock, Bug , Electric) I barely had any super effective moves cause people brought counters at least 65% of the time if not more also challengers bring poorly constructed teams just filled with pokes that arent effected by types and the challengers who are using / building real teams they would use outside of leagye do more better in this leagu.e

We are leaders after all but we are confined into using one type and alot of these types have barely any team options or lack dual types. We build solid teams maybe some challengers would decide to build decent teams instead of throwing pokes on it as i stated above. Stop the complaining about rules its fair too both sides we arent putting any restrictions on counter teaming just on SE Stab against leaders type. Read rules youcan still use vs dual type just because you cant spam SE Stab vs leaders type shouldnt hamper your challenge if you have the abilty to make a team to win league

Anyway, that's not the mainreason.
The main reason is, is that I want to pay full attention at improving in tiers.
I really want to become better than I'm already are.
And those challenges from and to me, are stealing attention...
So I stop with leading the gym.

Hey gym leaders,

I want your input on the new rule. Has it balanced your battles a bit? Made them too easy? We ARE playing with a new sort of metagame so any input is fine. Just don't be a downer and complain.

Also, to make things interesting, once we have our 1st champion, we will close this season of the league. Once that happens, I will institute 8 leaders and 4 final battles. Should any leader wish to be an elite:
- they must be a member of Legacy clan (we currently have 6 members as leaders)
- I'm not concerned about the strength of these people. I would prefer the more active leaders take gyms tbh.

I will also allow people to switch gyms into the unused types.

This seasons badge count will be recorded for records sake, but should you re-battle in the new season you will have to re-earn any badges.

As a side note, to be fair, any challengers doing a FF challenge when we crown our first champ may continue their challenge until they are defeated by a FF. Should they defeat the FF they may challenge our new champ.

Personally i don't see a big issue with the rules, I have had a few battles where they brought complete counterteams loaded with se moves, and I've destroyed hem, and I have fought people who use actual real teams and don't use a single se move and they beat my gym. The no se rule shouldn't make it any more difficult for people to win badges, you just need to build a team, not a counterteam and you should be fine with the league.

I love the idea for a season aspect towards the league. I think we should do like ingame and keep the champion on board as a fifth member of E4 after they beat the E4 they must beat the old champion to be crowned the new champion, also the champion's team after beating the final E4 will have to be there perma team when defending the championship crown.

Maybe run a tourney of sorts to decide the E4 or maybe decide new gym leaders for all the gyms like have everyone use differnt monos to give challengers a differnt leader to beat after already winning the badge from same person durning a set season.

Well twi i prefer battling and as we all know in order to get a match as an E4 member you have to wait for the challengers to beat all 8 gym leaders, which could take them a while ;P

btw, im wondering how the comp battling will change when pokemon X and Y are released this october.
