Guess I was one of the lucky ones, then - I got one on my third try. =p

What I do for the Magnemite Coil is set the country to somrthing like Germany or Spain - there are often plenty of Magnemite up for offer from those kind of countries, and since no one really seems to think of using them, they're most likely to be still there by the time you start the trade instead of having been snatched up already.

I do the same thing, that way I can concentrate on other things, like playing with my daughter, while the trades go through. It's worked well for me so far.

Also, by doing the Magnemite Coil, it gives me nice yellow dots on my globe I've been a tiny bit obsessed with getting trades from as many different places as I possibly could since the early days of BW1 for some unknown reason.

The Kitchen is such the biggest pain to level up in comparison to other shops. Every time you have to guess for your customer, and recommend them to the Kitchen, there's a 90% chance they'll leave.

You could just use the Join Avenue page on this website to determine what visitors actually accept the cafe as a recommendation.

That and pick the cafe as your favorite shop so more visitors will want to go there.

I don't like the idea of having a page open every time I do a session. For one, I'm lazy, and secondly, I'm sometimes out and about playing with no web access to look it up.
I guess I have some memorization to do if I want any luck.

On the topic of nurseries, I got mine on lvl 16... I thought you couldn't get it until after beating the E4, which would seem to be supposrted by what happened in my game (got to 15, didn't have it, beat E4 then levelled up and got it), but that could be co-incidence...
It is annoying trying to get dojo's from people who have B/W (not 2), and also that you can only have 8 shops

Well you can just save whenever you are not sure. More or less you will be familiar with most of them with time.

Finally got a florist from all 4 games, literaly took me weeks. I'm at like level 23 and haven't beaten the elite 4 yet lol.

Market (Black 2) Rank 9 - Doesn't seem to match with Serebii's list though. I'm missing a few items, that could be due to lack of E4, but I also have lava cookies rather than RageCandy bars. But I I have battle set G and C

Lottery (White) Rank 10 - I know it's White because it's from my White file
Florist (White) Rank 5
Florist (White 2) Rank 4
Fitness (White 2) Rank 10

yeah, but if I wanted to have say 4 dojos to have all the different types of powers from it, I then can't have some other types of shops... Although nursery and dojo are prob the main ones I will use...

I got my Avenue on White 2 to Rank 10 (just five more ranks!) and I renamed it Volcano. On Black 2, I have not gotten there yet (I think it is Rank 6).
The other day, I got a Rare Candy from the Raffle.

My Join Avenue is currently at level 35 and all shops are at level 10. I did it more for the Nursery but I must say that the Dojo and the Coffee Shop have been helping me a lot! The Flower Shop and the Beauty Salon are also wonderful additions

Hacking or some other illegitimate method, as it's impossible to have those characters as Join Avenue NPCs under normal circumstances.

Yeah I think it's hacked as having a Darmanitan heal your Pokemon doesn't look right IMO.

My current Avenue Rank is Rank 10.
