Pretty interesting character there. I find it interesting how you kind of did your own thing with his psychic powers, and overall I find his powers acceptable.

As for Ramdyne government, well I probably should've talked about this earlier. The Aradis Parliment rules over Aradis in general, but each continent besides Naku also has a governer. So it's acceptable to say a there is "a member of the Ramdyne government", since this person could be working for the governer of Ramdyne.

Alright, here is the sign up for my second character.

Name: Harvey Kingrock
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Race: Earth Gaian
Class: Augmenter/Elementalist

Skills/Weapons/Powers: Due to his large size and bulk, Harvey is strong and resiliant, and thus is able to withstand much more punishment than most people. Although he doesn't actually carry a weapon, he can easily make due by just fighting with his bare hands. He isn't actually trained in any form of hand-to-hand combat; he's just so large that you are probably going to go down in one punch from him.

Despite appearing to be all brawn and no brains, Harvey is actually very technilogically saavy. His right arm is a bronze colored metallic arm that at first appears to be a normal arm, but has several upgrades to it. The arm has rocket boosters on the backside of it to allow Harvey to add incredible amounts of force to his punches. His arm also is also practically a swiss army appendage, as Harvey can switch out his hand for several other tools. Currently, his arm can turn into: an energy cannon (basically think of Megaman's Mega Buster), a drill, a welding torch, and a blade. Inside the arm are a large Brown Gem, which is the main source of power for his arm and his elemental powers, a Pink Gem to allow him to control the arm since it isn't technically connected to his nervous system, a Red Gem to power the rocket boosters and welding torch, and an Orange Gem to power the energy cannon.

Harvey's elemental powers are fairly minor, and were actually just an unintended side-effect of the Brown Gem powering his arm. Using his powers, Harvey can shake the ground or even fracture it with a stomp from his hooves, causing what feels like miniature earthquakes. He also has the ability to detect vibrations coming from the ground that would be impossible for anyone to normally notice. He can feel just about any powerful force hitting the ground in about a mile radius, and smaller forces from the distance of a few dozen feet. The vibrations are easier to feel if the cause of it is coming from in or under the ground.

Description: Harvey is an Earth Gaian that resembles a Horse of the Belgian Draft breed. He is ridiculously big, standing at 6'10'' and weighing over 300 pounds. What makes him even more frightening to those who'd stand in his way is that all that extra weight is not fat, but pure muscle. His fur coat is short but thick, with a milk chocolate brown color. Harvey's eyes a dark brown color, much darker than his coat. His mane and tail are long and black, with his mane going past his shoulders and his tail going down to his knees. The fur on the bottom part of his legs and the lower part of his left arm are also black, and is much more longer and thicker than the rest of his coat. His hooves are an eggshell white, but are hard to see under the black fur on the ends of his legs. The fur on his arm ends at a closer point, so his left hand is more visable. The hand is covered in really short and thin black hair.

His right arm is a metallic bronze color and is only slightly thicker than his left arm (it's actually MUCH thicker than a normal person's arm, but Harvey is alot bigger than most people). The plating on it is smooth but not straight, so it has a bumpy texture to it. His right hand matches the rest of the arm, but it looks like it comes from inside the arm rather than being attached to on the outside, due to the fact that it DOES come from inside it and can be retracted and replaced by one of the arm's other tools. The energy cannon is a large, cylinder shaped cannon of the same color of his arm, that extends out only a few inches. The drill is steel colored and resembles one of those large cone shaped mining drills. The welding torch is a small tube that is again the same color as the arm and curves a bit near the end of it. The blade is a similer steel color as the drill and resembles the blade of a saber.

Harvey wears a simple black leather vest, and for two reasons. One, a shirt with sleeves doesn't work very well with his robotic arm, and two, it's hard for him to find shirts big enough to fit him. He wears a pair of goggles around his neck, which he carries just in case he needs to have eye protection for one reason or another (after the accident that cost him his right arm, he's learned to be more cautious). He also wears a pair of blue jeans (hey, they were made in the mid-1800's), that despite being in size XXL are STILL a little small for Harvey. Harvey does not wear shoes, as it isn't really possible considering he has hooves for feet. He does however have horseshoes bolted to his hooves, for exactly the same reasons real horses wear them.

Personality: Harvey is interesting in the fact that although he seems to be rather "simple minded", he's actually very smart and clever. He is a techniogical genius, but he often seems dull-witted. Harvey is pretty much smart in a literal sense, but when it comes to being wise, he isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.

Although he is perfectly willing to use his strength when nessesary, Harvey often is a gentle giant and is very careful about his size and power. In fact, he actually gets along with those much smaller than him, such as children. Harvey is very prideful and loves to be admired for his size and strength. He is also a hard worker and determined; once he's started something, it's hard to get for him to stop.

His entire mindset is focused on the present. He rarely cares about someone else's past, and only bases how he treats others by what he's seen himself. This often means he is very fair, but can also make him somewhat gullible.

Although he loves being big and loves being admired for it even more, there is nothing Harvey treasures more than freedom. If anything may actually scare Harvey, it's losing the right to do what he pleases. Because of this, Harvey tries to follow the law as much as possible, in order to avoid the risk of being sent to jail. And although he figures that it is very unlikely anyone could tame his power, Harvey is afraid of the idea of enslavement.

History: Harvey was born in the city of Dymarion, on the continent of Ramdyne. His parents weren't exactly rich but they were fairly well off, so Harvey had a fairly comfortable childhood. Due to a small Gaian population, Harvey often stood out among fellow children, although no one really minded (since generally only halfbreeds are regarded as weird). What made him stand out even more was that out of all of his classmates he was the only one who was both a jock AND smart. He was a walking contradiction, and everyone didn't know whether to make fun of him for it or regard him as some sort of prodigy.

Eventually, Harvey discovered his love for technology. He began conducting experiments in his basements, and even building his own machines. His work was so impressive that a famous human scientist who was known worldwide as a great inventor personally asked for Harvey to be his apprentice. Harvey agreed, and began who work as an assistant in his lab.

It was there where Harvey had an accident that cost him his arm. He was mixing highly volatile chemicals, and, getting impatient, he mixed two before they had time to settle. Although the reaction was at first a small eruption causing the room to be covered in the mixture, some of it landed on an experimental piece of machinary, that unfortunately for Harvey, happened to be explosive. Thankfully no one else was injured or killed in the blast, but Harvey's right arm was badly damaged and had to be amputated. This didn't stop Harvey however, and he immediately began work on his new project: a new right arm. Harvey worked tirelessly for the next couple months building a new arm, adding new things to it that would either be conveinent, practical, or just really cool. After finishing, he grafted it onto his shoulder so now it essentially IS his right arm, instead of something he wears where it used to be. Since first making it, he has upgraded it a couple times, and even now is making new upgrades.

When Harvey first heard of the rumors of a Sacred Gem being discovered, he immediately grew excited. There was no doubt in his mind that even one of such gems could be used for some amazing machine to utilize it's power. He grew even MORE excited when the Aradis Parliment announced they were looking for volunteers to go and investigate. Harvey quickly made his way to Aradine, to go and join the team gathering there for the expedition of a lifetime.

Name: Yuriko Shizakuji Wisteria. Just call him “Yuri Lazuli “

Age: 12? Real Age Unknown.

Gender: Male

Race: Lightning Half-Gaian

Class: Time Mage
Skills/Weapons/Powers: First of all let’s talk about Yuri’s Powers. He’s a master a Time Magic, but limits his uses on it, unless it’s on him aging, then he uses it on himself. Some areas in Kamax call him “The Tinkerer” for his amount of skill with Time Magic, but he’s more Iconic to a certain genre. In battle, he more uses this as Supporting, like Speeding up time around enemies so they age and weaken, or increase and decrease the flow of time, making his allies/foes go faster or slower. He also harnesses two of Time Magic’s most Powerful Spells, Undo and Extend; Undo can make the last thing that happened not happen, and Extend can extend anything, from Buffs, Status Effects, Pain (He’s a good Combo Starter with this spell), and Age, though it also can invert the effects, shortening things, but those take a lot of energy, and leads him to have to sleep for a couple of days, sometimes even a week or two. One time, he had to undo over a wide Radius, which left him in a Coma for a Month. He also has another spell he can use involving time, but it requires one of two major things, One is enough Clear Gems to fill the entire area of the Combine Islands (Which there aren’t that much anymore), or Unseal himself. Also, he's constantly tired due to his old age, so he constantly needs to sleep more often then the other members.

He’s also very skilled with Lightning Magic, but since he’s a Bat, he’s also very weak against it, leading for him to have to only use it in dire situations, or when needed, greatly limiting his usefulness in the area, leading for him to not use it much at all.

His Weapon is actually very simple. It’s called the Nightwing, which doesn’t seem Ironic at all. It’s a type of staff with two Small gems in it. It has a curved handle, and the pass of the end of the stick end is an edged wing with the gems on it. It can help cast Lightning Magic, and Time Magic, and if it's during the night, magic casting time decreases.

Description: Yuri stands at around 4 ft. 11, which makes him a pretty small kid. He has short; rusted red hair that’s always has a small, blue ribbon embroidered with Strawberries in it, normally tying it into a ponytail. He has grey, almond-shaped eyes, and a sort of pointed nose. His skin is somewhat Ashen, and his canines are a lot longer than any human, but they don’t protrude out at all. His ears are shaped like a bat’s, but retain his skin tone, and look a lot more Elvin then bat-like, but they’re bat ears. They can hears things that normal humans can hear, and things from farther away, but sadly this makes his sense of smell not as good as a human. He also has tufts of fur surrounding his neck, wrists, and ankles. He also has a giant seal all across his back; the reasons are explained in History.

He has two main outfits. When he’s in everyday clothing, or acting, he wears a somewhat flamboyant shirt that shows his collar fur, which is the same color has his hair. The shirt is a sort of Sailor boy shirt, which has a blue scarf tied around his neck, which of course has Strawberries on it. The collar of the shirt is a star berry red bisected by a line of gold. The shirt is of alabaster in color, but is lightly tinted with the color of Lapis Lazuli. His shorts in this attire are also the color of Lapis Lazuli, and attached to the hip of the shorts is a chain locket with the gem stone on it. He wears a standard pair of sneakers.

When in battle, he has much more different attire which is way simpler. He wears a Cat Eared hood, which is a satin robe with red triangles embroidered on the bottom, and cat ears on top of the robe, which is normally one. Besides that, he wears the same shorts which are hidden underneath, and shoes.

Personality: Yuri is a VERY childish kid, considering his actual age. He is always very flamboyant and loud, and stubborn as well. He sometimes doesn’t know when to stop talking and yells and screams at times, but is also quite serious when he needs to be. This leads to him being interesting, as when he’s in public, he acts cold and heartless, like he doesn’t acknowledges their existence.

He’s also very clumsy, and frail. Even though he could probably run a Marathon on sugar, he gets sick easily, and he has to sleep most of the time after long plays or shows. Since he was born like this, it leads him to have a respect for life, and what it gave to people. So it comes surprising when people learn he’s a Pacifist, which he normally doesn’t show qualities of on stage and in public.

To finish it of, he’s very knowledgeable about the world’s history, living through most of the world’s later half. He can at times give good advice, and how to cast certain spells, but most of it is sealed off in the seal, so he doesn’t remember it.

History: Yuri was born somewhat 180 years ago, but his real age isn’t revealed to anyone but himself. He lived in a small hut in a forested area, an area that he forgotten the name of, but he was always inside with his parents, but unlike them, who preferred the night, liked the light, and normally sat on the edge of where the sun pierced the woods, letting the sounds of Nature come to him. At the age of twelve, he started to fear aging, and just wanted to stay in the wood forever young. So when he discovered a clear gem, he was greatly surprised, he heard in lore that the gemstone could control time, so he took the change and started practicing magic.

A wandering wizard appeared, and taught Yuri what he knew in exchange of him becoming the Wizard’s apprentice, something that both he and his parents agreed on. That was the last time he remembered his parents, and only has a mushroom to remember them by. A few years passed, but he seemed to never age. He still looked twelve at the age of seventeen, which was odd, but he realized it might have been his Gaian blood kicking in, but as the years passed, he never knew why he stayed the same, until he realized that he was accidentally casting time magic on himself to stay alive longer.

His most prominent memory was of a Great War that happened, where he actively refused to fight for any side, until he heard that his home was destroyed, and he then agreed to be a strategist got the side that came to him first, and won them the war. Then a couple years passed like they were just drops of water for him, and he heard about something new called acting.

He quickly became a great star in the plays, playing in many genres and as the girl at time. He found a acting partner, and they became known as the historical Duo “Sugar and Ice.” The two were young (Well, Yuri is of Young Mind.) This was also the time where he decided to seal off his wings, and most of his memories, so that his past didn't hider him.

Well, to fully explain on why he was sealing his wings. Since he decided to be an actor, the wings would be screaming Half-Gaian, which most people hated or despised, unless it was in a mixed area. Besides that, he sealed the other reason why he did it, well, the memories of why he did. The actual Reason was that they were cursed by a Necromancer he had to defeat to help win the war. It was a Baron of some Country, but he doesn't remember what ti effects were. Or the cursing at all.

Now, back to his history. Many rumors where said about the duo, including homo-romantic ones, and most were actually true. Though at the turn of the current century, Sugar died, which lead Yuri to have grief. He was also taking Yuri’s magic, which greatly drained him, so after hearing of his partner’s death, he fell into a coma, and woke up a few years ago. After casting some heavy magic, he returned to his initial look, and most people rejoiced. He now acts in plays of any Genre, but most noticeable one is the ‘Shotacon’ Genre. He also now resides in the City of Sorento, on the Island of Kanax, doing plays at his heart’s content, well, until he heard of the Devine Gem discovered, and thought he might find an answer to something he long ago forgot…


Misc. Info: His favorite food is strawberries, and his favorite gem stone is the Lapis Lazuli. He does not have a sun sign, but his major Arcana card would be the Inversed Wheel of Fortune.

Alright, now I can see. Ok first off: immortal characters are a BIG no-no. Clear Gems are REALLY hard to use, so much that generally Psyclos are the only race that can do anything with them. The normal effects that are used in battle (as long as none of them are permanant effects) are acceptable, but he can't be immortal.

Second, the gun just seems kind of random. And you say it's a magic gun, only to not explain HOW it is magical. Really putting "magic" in it's name sounds like an excuse to try to avoid me saying "Well if he's carring a gun, why isn't he a Gunslinger?"

Third, you never actually explained how he sealed his wings, or why it is nessesary. Why would making his wings go away effect anything?

Fourth, why would he have sneakers if sneakers are a modern form of shoes? (REALLY minor, but I still gotta mention it.)

Fifth, his powers seems to have too much of an effect upon himself. I mean, going into a coma for months is just a bit too much. If you ask me, just lower the length of the comas drastically and get rid of the gun.

Going to have to say Pending for now until you can make some changes.

Race: Half-Velox
Class: Berzerker/Cleric

Skills/Weapons/Powers: Cynthia is someone you wouldn't want to piss off. She carries around a mid-sized war hammer crafted out of a fine wood, that is very durable and she made it herself. The handle is thick and the ends of the head are broad. Due to being a Half-Velox, she can be swift and carrying the war hammer isn't a big hindrance. She can make powerful swings that are sure to bring down a foe. She also has some skill with knives and carries two trench knives on her belt. She likes to switch between these and her hammer occasionally. In her left boot, she has a hidden combat knife if she's ever in a sticky situation. She also knows a thing or two about healing. When training to become a Warrior she took the task of learning to become a Cleric. Not being fully trained, and due to her Velox blood, she managed to learn how to heal minor wounds and to prevent major ones from being lethal. For a boost in healing she has black leather gloves adorned with a green gem in the center of each back hand. She carries these gloves in her pouch and only puts them on when she heals. On her ears she wears earrings made of orange gems. This gives her extra stamina in battle, as well as boosting her strength, making it easier to utilize her hammer and to also pack a punch when resorting to hand-to-hand combat.

Description: Cynthia is a Half-Velox with pointed ears that are obvious. Otherwise, she has regular human characteristics. She stands at 5'10 and has a slim figure. She has long blonde hair that she keeps as a ponytail in a single braid down her back, and has a small braid across her forehead as well. To keep the attention away from her awkwardly pointed ears, she wears earrings that are made of a small chain holding an orange gem in the shape of a hexagonal prism. Other than being distracting, it also provides basic energy for her to persevere and last longer in battle. Her eyes are a deep shade of blue and it seems to come into contrast with her fair skin. She is equipped and always ready, sporting light armour that covers her entire top half, but is cut off at the shoulders and neck. On her waist she has a handy belt that has everything she needs. A small pouch at her left, holding the essentials for a first aid kit, her trench knives in another neat pouch, and then the back of her belt has a convenient slot to hold her war hammer. She then wears black pants that go into her leather boots that reach up to her shin, with her hidden knife in the left boot.

Personality: Cynthia is stubborn and can get pissed at almost anything she chooses to lash out at. Most of the time she has an angry tone, but she does this to put up a front. Although, she holds a strong dislike for anyone of the rogue class. She won't really open up and act friendly towards others until she feels comfortable. Even when she does start to act friendly, she still retains her tough demeanor, with her words having bite in them. Honestly, when she makes a friend she will put them as top priority. She picked up medical techniques and trained to become a Warrior to protect those she cares about to prevent the loss of anymore that are close to her. This gives her, her never-give-up-and-fight-until-the-end attitude, making her very resilient. She is also a curious person, often getting into trouble wherever her curiosity peeks.

History: Cynthia grew up as a farm girl in the Jadewing Plains of Rukon. Life was alright for her as a child, just doing small tasks on the farm to help her parents. She lived with her mother, a Velox, and father, a Human, with a younger brother who was a Half-Velox like herself. Everything seemed perfect for her at the moment, but then came a band of Rogues. They pillaged her family's home, her farm's crops, and did the same to the surrounding farms. In the incident she lost her family, they were murdered by the Rogues and before they got to her she was saved by Warriors. The Clerics also arrived to save her family, but they failed. This incident, forever etched into her memory, is what pushed her to be what she is in the present. She respected the Warriors who had saved her and strived to be one. Being orphaned, she found a boot camp for warriors to live in. Starting from the age of 17 she began her training to become a Berzerker. On the side, she also trained to become a Cleric, in honor of those who tried to save her family. She found it hard to perform with her Velox blood, but her Human blood allowed her to perform decent procedures. She felt accomplished with her training at the age of 25 and left the camp. For the rest of the two years she became a sort of bounty hunter, turning in Rogues and criminals for money to live by. Then, she heard about the discovery of the mysterious gem and her curiosity couldn't help but lead her to it.

I've noticed that a ton of people have been treating the class names like they are groups of people. The class names are just that: names. People don't just refer to a thief as a Rouge just because I listed the Thief class in the Rogue catigory, or you aren't nessesarily literally a monk just because you are in the Monk class. Just thought i should mention that.

Now that I've rambled on about yet another thing, I can get to the matter at hand. From what I've seen Cynthia definately is acceptable. So that is exactly what I shall do; accept her. Cynthia is Accepted.

Well, besides the Sneaker. I was going for Japanese School Boy/Girl Look, so I thought sneakers would fit (I'm surprised you didn't talk to me about the Sailor Suit)

I had a problem with the sneakers because it was the only thing that really could not have existed in the 19th century. Some of the other stuff may have odd colors, sure, but they still could have actually been possible to manufacture in that time period.

I still have some problems. First, why is the gun still there? I don't care if it's some Persona envoker thing or a laser gun. Either get rid of the gun, or get rid of his ability to use elemental magic without the gun and choose Gunslinger as your second class (magic gun or otherwise, it's still a gun).

And what is a "magic leak"? Although you explained why his wings are sealed (though I still don't see why sealing his wings would affect anything), you didn't explain why he has this "magic leak" in the first place.

Just going to say it right now: Magic does NOT work like that in this universe. In truth, no sentient race has ANY magic power by themself. All magic is obtained through Divine Gems, and how powerful you are is dependant on the quality of the gem itself, as well as how receptive your body is to the Gem's power. A "magic leak" could not possibly happen from Yuri, as Yuri is not the object that is magical; the Divine Gems are. If a Divine Gem was for some reason "leaking" magic (which it wouldn't and can't do), the problem could be solved by simply replacing the gem. Besides that, the effects of the "magic leak" getting out of control are WAY too extreme.

I don't really know what to tell you to do at this point, except that I think just simplifing Yuri's backstory would solve most, if not all of his problems (except the gun of course). Yuri is still Pending, for now.

Name: Halt Erzit

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Race: Gaian

Class: Elemental-Custom. Halt never liked the ‘stay back’ mentality of Wizards, so he adapted a form of fire magic to his body and his liking. His magic is based around forming varying fire magic’s to his body, and using physical combat to break down his opponents.

Skills/Weapons/Powers: In terms of weapons, Halt uses gold metal gloves. The gloves are made of gold, and are spindly made, not forming a complete grip around the hand, but are more like a gold band around each knuckle, with a red gem in each ring. A gold rod connects the bands along each finger, and emasses into a large network of gold rods along the back of each hand, with red gems at each point that the rods connect.

While the gems are located on his hands, his signeture ability is to surrond his body, wheter it be just his hands of his entire body, in fire. From this, he devolps hand-to-hand technics relaying on the fire around his fists and legs for extra damage. He often surronds himself in fire for defense. Not only that, but from hsi constant exposure to the flames, he built a resistance to fire, but its fairly minor, only being able to resist outside flames for about ten minutes beofre serious damage begins to form.

When fighting someone with long range weapons, he uses a barrier known as Infernal Barrier. He surronds himself in fire, while gripping himself onto the ground, and starts to super heat it. It takes a minute, but when he gets it into max temperature, anything in a five foot radius of him with be burned, metal melted, and bullets fired will be both melted and turned off course by the thermals generated by the high heat.

As a child, he accedetly ate a fairly large Red Gem, and even now, its stuck near his throat, having been melted into the flesh around his esophagus. While his voice is now raspy and he has a really bad smokers cough, the plus side is that he can use a form of Dragon Breath. He focuses the magic of the gem into his breath, and breathes out though his tightened mouth, and as a result, he breathes fire. Its extremely hot, capable of burning flesh away on contact. However, when he does use this ability, he finds it difficult to breath for a while, as well as coughing a lot.

As a child, Halt learned a few tricks to night navigation from his father, a trader who often sailed. While he was interested for the most part, Halt can't remember exact locations to use from a map in order to navigate. He did remember, however, how to navigate via the stars very accurately.

Description: Halt, while born a red scaled Gaian, had been torched to a very smoky black. He stands six feet tall, and weighs a slightly smallish 145 pounds, though he blames his lousy growing. His head is dragon shaped, with scales looking like a frill extending out from his head. The frills start from behind the silts that are his ears and emcompase his entire head. They jet out from behind his head to about six inches, making it hard for him to hide his head. His eyes have a silted pupil similar to lizards, and the iris around them is blueish-green. His head is half burned, leaving half of it crimson red while the other half is smokey black. His face is compacted similar to a human's, but his mouth is slgihtly wider, about ten centimeters, to account for his large set of canines that are his teeth. The scales that form his face area are much smaller and more flexible than the rest of his body, meaning that they can form facial expressions easier. His nose is two slits in the middle of his face, slightly longer than the average human nose, and can flare open to increase the range he can smell, though not near super human levels, just slightly more acute. His body scales are slightly small, and jet out along his spine and at the ends of his elbows. The scales that jet out kept the crimson coloring, though the very tips are blackened. His feet are talon; though still have five toes, except the right foot which is missing the large toe. Halt’s hands are the worst burnt of his entire body, being not only blackened, but have gone to a temperature where they have become glossy like glass. The gloves that he wears are more like a network of gold rods and rings around each hand, leaving his palm with the larger parts of the rods. The gold rods are strong enough to stop a sword blade, but they only cover his hand, so Halt has to be fast enough to stop a sword with his hand.

Halt’s day to day clothing consists of a long flowing cloak that completely covers his body. It’s a dull grey from being in the sun and worn away by the wind, and the hood is deep enough to completely cover Halt’s head, which he does often. Underneath he wears a fire-resistant black gi with a red stripe along the inside. The gi pants have the same stripe, as well as being flame resistant.

Personality: Halt is a very big loner, not wanting to talk to others. He has a bad phobia of people touching him, such as hugs or similar modest expressions, and will lash out with his magic if someone tries to. He isn’t a nice person either, being rude and often lashing out at others when they either insult him or someone else. He can be honorable, but he tends to stay out of a fight if he can help it. An ongoing fight he will refuse to join, but if he starts a fight, he’ll burn the enemy to a crisp if he can help it.

He can’t trust others, a large problem situated in his past, and from that day forth, he never looked at people the same. He sees others are hateful creatures, only out for their gain or someone else’s gain. He hates no room for love, just hate. He has a particular irrational hatred for happy young children, as they have never felt suffering, and at that point in their life, he feels that they should.

Halt also has a fairly large dislike to half breeds, or useless mongrels as he likes to call them. It's not that he finds them repulsive, it's just that he can't see any point to why they should exist. They can't use magic as well as Gaians, and they aren't as flexible as humans, so why? He's smart about it though, and won't call a group of half breeds useless mongrels. One alone though, and Halt might attack it, just to prove to the mongrel that it is useless.

History: Halt Erzit was born to two Fire Gaian in the coastal desert town of Jalabad, and being born to two fire Gaian meant that he was more…reptile than human. His scales and manor of walking made him look more like a dragon than his parents, as his father was a red scaled lizard, and his mother a red scaled snake. He enjoyed life well enough, though it was tough to survive in the desert area. He and his parents had to squeeze what life and water they could from the parched land, often fishing or, in his father’s case, trading overseas as a sailor. It was tough, but Halt learned to appreciate what they had. However, this joy could not last forever. On his fifth birthday, his father splurged a little money that he had been saving, and bought little Halt a medium sized Fire Gem. Halt loved the gift, and often played with it when he could. However, two weeks later, he was tossing the gem up and down in the air, lighting it on fire as he did, when it slipped past his finger, and down his throat. Halt started choking, unable to breath past the flaming gem. His parents tried to get him to spit it up, but suddenly, he breathed the fire of the gem out from his mouth, torching the room. His parents, to his despair, ran from the building, leaving him to burn. Halt, from then on, hated everyone. As the gem burned, it began to melt, fusing itself into the flesh around his throat.

When Halt awoke, he was in the doctor’s office in Galahad. He had burnt his house down, and as a result of being in the flames and smoke, his lungs were heavily damaged as well as his scales being burnt to the point of being black as charcoal, a smoky esk color. He left the hospital homeless and familyless, as his parents had run off during the blaze and booked a vessel to the mainland. Alone, Halt roamed the streets of the trading city, using his minor magical abilities to get a few coins for food every day. He loved the solitude more and more every day, but eventually it had to be broken. One day, at the age of eight, Halt was found by a traveling martial artist by the name of Drake. The human was curious of Halt’s history, as well as his tenacity. Halt agreed to be his student, but only because the man promised to give Halt golden gloves with Fire Gems inlaid into the gloves.

For the next eight years, Halt was trained by the man in the art of the martial Xaolin style, learning the different animal stances such as Tiger and his favorite, Leopard. They both worked hard as well, earning enough money to buy a fairly large house for use as a dojo. However, one day, Drake’s old students came to the dojo, angry that the man took a Gaian as a student. They started to gang up on him, beating the man down. Halt, enraged, remembered about the gem melted into his throat. He took a deep breath, and focusing the magic of the gem into that breath, Halt used his Dragon Breath magic, and roasted the angry students alive. However, his master and friend, Drake, was burned along with them. Halt, again alone, became a mercenary, earing himself the name Dragon Tongue. He became well known in his home continent of Kamax, which is no wonder that while on a trip to Aradine for more supplies, he was contacted to join an expedition. He joined, but was wary of both the others joining, and the possible dangers that awaited him.
