Alright, good sign up. Just two things I'd like to mention though.

Based on Halt's powers, he's actually an Elementalist/Monk. Using magic in any form for hand-to-hand combat is basically what a Monk does. I'll just put him as an Elementalist/Monk.

A Fire Gaian wouldn't nessesarily need to get a Red Gem lodged in their throat to breathe fire, but that would probably make the fire breath stronger since the gem would be closer to where the actaul fire is coming from.

Overall though, Halt is good, and thus is Accepted.

Kristoph is a skilled ranger and climber. In battle, he usually climbs in trees and attacks foes and jump to another tree and repeat, as he prefers to distance himself and the foe and tries to use his speed as an advantage (as he is a bit faster than most people). When he is using his sword, he charges straight at the enemy. When he is left without his weapons, he resorts to his fists and kicks (which he really isn’t skilled at).

Kristoph’s main weapon in his crossbow, which can fire three shots at once. He could also choose to fire on shot after another. The crossbow has a steel prod, while the rest of the crossbow is wooden. Around the middle is a slot where he puts his gem in. His short sword has a slot in the handle for his gem. He prefers his crossbow and usually wields it with two hands. He could also dual wield with the crossbow in his left hands and the shorts sword in his right.

Kristoph carries an orange gem, he usually doesn’t use it unless it’s required (like versing a foe who also uses a gem or when he needs a power boost). He uses it for either of his weapons. When dual wielding, he constantly switches the gem between weapons.

Description: Kristoph has an average build for a 21 year old. He is six feet in height which he considers pretty tall for a Half-Velox. He has pointed ears like any other Half-Velox, but he covers them his with kind of long, straight-ish black hair. He wears a black cloak on top of his clothes. Under that he wears a gray jacket over his white shirt, he also wears gray pants. He wears leather shoes. When traveling, he always has a sword harness which he usually tries around his waist.

Personality: To most people, Kristoph is a bit shy goody two shoes, but behind the nice exterior, lies a bit cruel interior. His shyness is something that he didn't grow out of, it makes it somewhat difficult to talk to some people who seems imposing to him. When meeting new people, he usually doesn't reveal that much personal info until they proven themselves trustful. When battling he abandons his shyness and reveals his cruel personally. In battle, he rather have the opponent bloody and beaten them letting the leave unharmed. Despite that, Kristoph has a sense of self control, as he tends to stop most of his battles before he or his opponent gets seriously injured. He also seems to take grudges a bit more seriously than others.

History: Kristoph was born into a ‘half-human’ family. His mother was human, while his father was a Velox, most of his relatives were also half-human or human. He was born in the outskirts of Shirazon. As a child, he was kind of popular with some of the locals. But feared by some of the children because of his personality, as a result, he didn’t play with kids his age, but rather stay with adults or close family. Sometimes, he would climb trees in his spare time.

At around the age of fourteen, a close friend of the family named Lance came to visit Kristoph’s family after a long journey. Kristoph was very interested with the weapon Lance carried on his back. Curious, he stole the cross bow from the man and tried to fire a few shots with it.

Things were going his way until one of his classmates from school saw him with it and ran to tell Kristoph’s parents. Like always, his parents did not believe his classmate, but Lance did and saw Kristoph using it. Instead of scolding him, he offered to train Kristoph with crossbows. Kristoph accepted and trained with Lance on weekends for several years. He also trained a bit with short swords. Eventually, Kristoph made his own crossbow which he still uses today. He got his short sword from Lance as a gift.

When he was older, Kristoph decided to become a mercenary and traveled to Aradine. Unfortunately, some people there didn’t like half-humans. He let his hair grow a bit to cover his ears, as they were probably an indicator that he wasn’t a pure human.

Despite his efforts, he wasn’t that successful of finding jobs, due to his shyness. Just as he was about to leave after not being successful at finding any job, he overheard two guards talking about Parliament hiring mercenaries to find some object. He smiled as he had found a job and decided to go volunteer.
