Blastoise of Feraligatr?

When I first became a Pokemon fan I would probably say Blastoise but ever since I used Totodile in HeartGold I'd say Feraligatr. Along with Togekiss I'd probably say it was the most useful member of my team. I also love it's slight grossness it has to it for so reason.

I would say Feraligatr.

I prefer Squirtle over Totodile and Wartortle over Crokonaw. But the question is Blastoise or Feraligatr? I prefer Feraligatr. I prefer Feraligatr because I like the idea of the crocrodile and the image it gives out when you look at it. It looks like a pokemon a redneck would have. I also like Feraligatr better when in comes to competitive battle. But Blastoise is still a cool pokemon.

It's not even a contest, it's Blastoise, hands down.

I don't really have an opinion on either one, competitive-wise, but Blastoise has, in my opinion, a far superior design and has been of more use to me in my games.

Feraligatr is more of a dragon dancing sweeper.

Blastoise is very bulky and got Rapid Spin.

Feraligatr has good Attack along with Swords Dance / Dragon Dance.

While I personally LOVE Feraligatr, Blastoise has two freaking CANNONS on it's back. You gotta admit that's pretty awesome. I love it's shiny form, too.

Personally I think Blastoise feels more 'complete' and wholesome with its design. To me it seems... quite detailed, especially comparing it with some of the other Pokemon in Kanto.
I'm not sure how to explain it.

Buuut, I like Feraligatr more.
I was one of those people that chose Charmander in Gen 1. So, when I picked my Johto starter for the first time I saw Totodile as a 'water Charmander' of sorts haha. It was an instant pick. I have always been inclined to reptiles, especially lizard-looking creatures. (although later I liked Typhlosion better. I never chose Cyndaquil at first because of its eyes lol -w-)
