Halt Erzit
Fire Gaian Elemental monk
Mercenary Guild, Aradine
The big deer guy didn't anwser, so Halt assumed that he was busy in thought. Or, by the look of his eyes, busy looking at some of the others. Halt sighed, and coughed. "Damn. I knew that the lung damage would be annoying, but it wasn't this bad back in Galahad. Must have been the heat" Halt thought. Since the big guy wasn't talking, Halt again looked around the room to take in a better assessment of the people he would be stuck with for the rest of the mission. For one, he noted a lot of half-breeds, more than he expected. He wasn't exactly hateful against half-breeds, he just didn't see the point to why they should exist. They didn't do anything different than a human or Gaian could do, so why? He shrugged. He did take particular interest in the aquatic looking half-Gaian. She didn't look that young, maybe three years younger. She was quite nice to look at, though a little short. Halt chuckled to himself, before bursting out in another smoker's coughing fit. He shook his head, and focused on the two children now. One, the boy, was horsing around, acting like he didn't have a care in the world. He was drinking what smelled like strawberries, and had a slight hint of acohol. Whoopy freaking do, a drinking child. Halt groaned. His ears, or slits as it were, picked up the female child's comments. She was another half-breed, but again, Halt couldn't care less about her.
"Kareena, Leo... that's why I hate them," said the boy child. The little girl looked out of the window, and to Halt's curiousity had him leaning to the right to catch a look,*"Screw my Child" "I want you to father my children" "Your'e the Best Shot EVER!" "YURI, WE LOVE YOU!!!"* Halt could merely blink at the multitude of women standing outside, all waving signs that said the such.
"I... can see why they would get on your nerves," the girl said in disbelief. Halt, if he had eyebrows, would raise one. Was she talking to the child, or the man nearby?
The girl walked over to the window, opened it, and before any of the fangirls could clamber in, she raised her wand and unleashed...air...at them, blowing them away. Climbing out, she gathered the signposts that had been dropped and brought them in.
"Now all we need is--" The girl was suddenly interrupted by a monkey man who rushed over to her and started to pinch and stretch her cheeks. "How adorable! Such a small child, on such a big quest," he said in an excited voice. "You must be quite strong, huh?" He then rushed away once more, and started to flirt with another female. Halt blinked again. What? A monkey? What?
"--all we need is someone who can use Fire Elemental magic to burn these up," the girl continued nonchalantly, "and preferably to burn up Lover Boy over there, too."
Halt was confused as high hell. Fangirls? Why fangirls? Are they here for another person? THat can't be right. Halt stood up, and keeping his hood over his face, walked to the small group of people, the two children and the man. "Um, yeah, I couldn't help but over hear..." began Halt, in his normal raspy voice "But you needed a Fire Elemental magic user?" He kicked the pile of signs with his talons on the right foot, showing that he was indeed, a lizard. Well, dragon technically, but tomato tomahto. "What do you want me to burn? The girls, or the signs? Signs for free, the girl would cost 20 per corpse." Halt said in a buisness like voice. It was raspy, but wasn't as bad. He talked directly to Leo, ignoring the boy and the girl. Children to him.
