Does it bother anyone else that in his battle with Surge, Red withstood a massive amount of electricity? As did Surge.... Apparently Pokemon electricity is different from normal electricity.

That or humans have built a resistance since they've been training electric Pokemon.

I'm guessing that the humans there have a stronger body, so better resistance against Pokemon attacks, or cold, or burns, electricity ect. or else there'd be a lot of deaths during Pokemon battles.
