Spoiler:- User Bar Credit and Banner Credit:
hey guys I need some help here becauase Gene got banned so I need a filler spot for my favourite team.. Suggestions please?
Hydreigon @ Expert Belt
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Modest (+spatk -atk)
EV: 252 sp atk/252 spd/4 def
- Focus Blast
- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- Dark Pulse
Hydreigon is a truly brutal Pokemonon the field. Sporting a shocking movepool and a good special attack to abuse it to its certain extent. One of my favorite pseudo-legendary, Hydreigon is a true beast of the wild. These attacks goes hand in hand and forms a great synergy. Draco Meteor puts a huge hole in anything that doesn't outright resist it. But when it does, Flamethrower puts a toasting to steel types, usually taking 4 times the damage and with expert belt boost, leaves it in the dust. Focus Blast is to hit T-tar hard, as well as countering Heatran and other non fire-weak steels (which in OU, only Heatran if I'm not mistaken). Dark Pulse which is accompanied by STAB, really beats bulky psychic and ghost like my Pringles jelly friend.
Owing to Hydreigon's large movepool, Expert Belt is chosen here as it has a wide array of coverage moves, allowing it to strike extra hard with almost no drawbacks. Max special and speed for faster, stronger sweeping.
Landorous-T @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Jolly (+spd -sp.atk)
EV: 252 at/252 spd/4 hp
-Superpower
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-U-Turn
Yes, this is indeed a Landorus-T. I couldn't find an icon that has Landorus-T. Anyways, spam aside, Landorus is my answer to Blissey who will wall Hydreigon to almost no end. Superpower acts like a Ferrothorn counter, making a dent in the pesky steel type. Also, it can be used as a "Perish" or last breathe type of attack .It finds wonderful STAB in earthquake, while Stone Edge can block up some ice types (ice cream!) who will try to stop it in its track. U-Turn gets a point here for being able to switch out and switch in into bulky support, and after a Rock Polish boost, it can find comfort in switching out faster than the opponent strikes.
Choice Scarf doesn't bring the goodie damage boost but it allows me to forego Rock Polish, thus giving me an extra alternative attack. Max attack and speed is to hit hard and strong, as well as get the most out of the Choice Scarf boost.
Chansey @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Bold (+ def -atk)
EV: 252 HP/252 def/4 spD
-Wish
-Seismic Toss
-Toxic
-Protect
Ahh Toxic Stall Chansey. Chansey is a true tank with Eviolite. This Chansey had been known to tank Dugtrio's powerful Earthquake (not joking) and only stripping 1/4 of the hp of this precious egg. Chansey is a true wall, stalling the foe while Protecting.. Wish is for recovery, Making her teammates heal up to almost full HP.. Seismic Toss is Chansey's "last resort" to Taunt, but will not be doing much with it. Toxic is the main meat in Toxic Stalling. Stripping more and more hp off the foe is terrifying if Chansey drags on.
252 HP brings maximum bulk with 252 Def bringing maximum physical bulk. Eviolite gives Chansey an awesome 1.5 boost in special def and def, and making Chansey a slightly more well rounded wall.
Foretress @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Careful (+SDef -SAtk)
EV: 252 HP/252 SDef/4 Atk
- Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
Utility Forretress. I could describe him. Replacing Dragonite as I realised my team does not have a spinner or hazard (stupid mistake), I threw in Forretress. Foretress is a well rounded Pokemon, able to spin away and plant hazards. There was three choices of competitions of hazards: Toxic Spikes, Spikes or SR. Realising the common usage of Steel types in OU, I gave up Toxic Spikes and settled with SR and Spikes. SR and Spikes provide a good reason for others not to swtich in. Meanwhile, Earthquake is my answer to taunt, who can prevent Forretress from setting up. Rapid Spin is another gamebreaking move, allowing all the hazards to be spun away.
Max HP is for max survivability, while Max SDef is for max bulk. Leftovers give precious recovery after sturdy, and can turn a foes 1HKO into 2HKO.
Ability: Magic Guard
Nature: Timid (+spd -atk)
EV: 252 spd/252 SAtk/4 HP
-Hidden Power <Ice>
-Psyshock
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast
Alakazam is as frail as paper, so it doesn't usually have the luxury to set up when the foe has a priority move (I'm looking at you Scizor) Thus, it is best to drop CM and go full out. HP Ice hits Dragonite pretty well, as well as pretty much most Grass and Dragom types. Psyshock puts in a huge mind blowing experience for Chansey and Blissey. Shadow Ball hits other Psychic and Ghost type pretty well, and has a higher accuracy than Focus Blast and acts as a counter to special defense low Pokemon. Focus Blast as a last touch, utterly sends Heatran and Tyranitar out the window, if it hits that is.
252 speed is for attacking first, very vital. 252 Special Attack gives a powerful sweep. Focus Sash is used for survivability.

I need to be subbed out of the war team. My battle should have been done and over with ages ago, and it's only a week until I ship off.
Because of that, I'm also returning to my old clan, as I told Eliteknight from the start. Sorry my war battle wasn't done, but unfortunately my word and RL take precedence.
Good bye Cosmic! Good luck in the Navy...?

So I've been using the CCAT lately...
One thing I have changed is heatran for gyarados.
My gyarados set is:
Gyarados (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 248 Def / 8 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Dragon Tail
- Taunt
- Thunder Wave
- Waterfall
Ive decided to use this because with the CCAT I feel like it has weaknesses to Ground and Fighting.
Both of which Heatran is weak to.
I also have changed Tentacruel's ev's to a SpDef set.
The only thing I am missing now is rocks...
Thoughts?
