Monthly Challenge

i was thinking of doing a hail theme, but i feel its to over centralized for december, so i desided on an armaggedon theme to go with the whole 2012 thing

you need at least 2 armaggedon theme pokemon, plus all other weather besides sand and sun are band

For formality purposes, I have to test you. But unless you're THAT rusty, it shouldn't be necessary. As a fellow student of Steve's I know you're legit.

EDIT: Also, now that I'm actually in the culinary part of culinary school, I will be in class every day from 1:15-7:45 Eastern time. So don't expect activity from me during those times.

Alright, so I'm here with that experimental team I've been telling you guys about. It's still a bit in it's working stages, but here are some established things: It's a Steel 3:3 Mono (by coincidence), Sun team. It's based around Trick Room-abusing Victini, that has investments in special attack... yada yada.

Here's the team. I'm not going to post any descriptions, but I can say that Victini, Genesect, and Scizor have been netting the most kills out of this thing so far (especially Victini if Trick Room is set up and Ninetales has sun up and running). Tell me what you think! Remember, it's still in its testing stages, so changes can be made.

lucario likes e speed, i would put it over blaze kick, you have no counter for common rain sweepers like keldeo and tornadus therian, 2 sashers with no spinner isnt the greatest idea, seeing as victini likes having hazards removed

Yeah, I usually rely on Victini getting Trick Room on the switch, as most of them out there are Choice Scarf variants of the thing. My team in general doesn't end up worrying about hazards most of the time. At any rate though, I've found that Lucario isn't so good at holding a Sash unless he's got Drain Punch or something.

Genesect, on the other hand, really appreciates it, as I have Giga Drain on the thing. Overall though, I'll go ahead and put ESpeed on the Lucario, just to take care of weaker Therians.

The Terrakion set is one I've always enjoyed success with, as is the Scizor one. The Ninetales is experimental though, but Sunny Day has won me a few weather wars before.

EDIT: Some of the strange HP investments are made to where their HP is divisible by four, meaning that Victini (and others) are able to switch into Stealth Rock one more time than they normally would be able to be. That extra switch is vital to a sweep at some points, even though I've not had to go down to that before.

Im applying for a league,and youre allowed to ban your opponents from using 1 move, and I need advice for which.
I am the fire leader, and the gls teams are mono(all fire)
Im thinking of 3 things I could ban
Hydro pump
Rain Dance
One of the stat booster moves
Can you guys post advice plz
also if anyone here can help me build a mono fire team tht would be good, im clueless at it

Is it a 3:3 mono fire, or is it 6:6 mono fire? The 6:6 would be too easy to counter, with just one fast-moving Pokemon.

ban stealth rocks, they are the arch enemy of fire monos
