364 eggs and no pink Wobbuffet... I'm really hoping to get this community hunt completed, because I haven't had a shiny since October

Ugh. So I haven't been on here in a while and just found out about the new Eeveelution... so now I know I have to get at least 5 more shiny Eevee instead of just 4. it has been over a month since my last one and it is so draining! Up to 3,800 REs with the shiny charm and I have hatched all 660 eggs in my first batch for Eevee number 5. This thing just doesn't want to show itself!

After only 1000 soft resets my Regigigas decided to shine @ my 5th soft reset for the day ^.^ My next hunt will be Uxie which I will be starting today. Keep up the great work everyone!

Well I suppose I can put this here. My mom bought me a few packs of the new plasma storm pokemon card set since I'm really into the TCG. And to my utter disbelief, I got a Shiny Charizard in the second pack! It completely made my day. For those who don't know, shiny cards appear in approximately every 350 packs, so yeah it's a big freaking deal. I might put a picture up later, if anybody wants to see it, just VM me.

W2: MMing Shelmet 191 eggs (I'll make it an even 200 then go REing somewhere)
SS: 1111 REs in union cave(hoping it's an Onix that shines for me)
Plt 300 SRs for the sinnoh starters(alternating between Chimchar and Piplup, because I had already adventured with a regular Turtwig)

after these 3 boxes ill be up to 350 hatched(hopefully at least 1 shiny axew in there ), after that ill prob re in the cave...we'll see
edit: well after hatching the 3 boxes....i found...ALOT of green scarfs and no purple scarfs :'(...axew has now become a VERY irritating shiny to find...

While EV training my W2 team for Challenge Mode, Subway + PWT and thinking to myself how great would it be to find a shiny, a few battles later a shiny Lv3 female Impish Patrat appeared before me, 1 Quick Ball later and my second ever non event shiny, first with the Shiny Charm was caught.

Thanks! That's a good question. I do have a spare Razor Claw from the guy on Route 13, so I could. I think I might evolve her (though probably not him) at some point. Still not sure.

I have decided to resume my HeartGold starter hunt and my FireRed route 3 hunt for the first time in a while. I have gotten nowhere, but I am determined to get those shinies!

EDIT: As a small afterthought, I decided to train Spectre, a Cubone caught on Seven Island, in order to shiny hunt on FireRed. He won't evolve, but I will train him enough to nearly defeat stronger enemies with one False Swipe. As such, this would be useful when seeking out shinies, as he would be able to lower them to low HP.

Well last night, suffering from a cold, I was feeling pretty miserable but thankfully I got a shiny to cheer me up. Just over 3000REs on route 15 and a shiny Gligar pops out of the grass. Yay! Its not the Sandslash I was looking for but at least I can carry on hunting on route 15 with no worries of getting a duplicate shiny. Its a shame that its blue and doesnt count for the CH though.

As for my squirtle hunt, Im at 2500 eggs now, but I have new motivation thanks to Gligar. Congrats to all the other recent shinies and good luck to everyones hunts.

Thanks for the congrats guys! Lakyn is now a level 55 Feraligatr. I got up to Ho-Oh last night and I really like Shiny Ho-Oh so I'm on 30 SR's for that now. My current hunts are now Ho-Oh, Growlithe and Eevee. As soon as I get Ho-Oh I'll be completing the rest of HG's main game and then it's straight back to my White 2 BQ. Good luck as always guys! =)

Been MM'ing for a shiny Venipede for ages now. Decided I'd take a break from it and complete Unova Dex to get the shiny Haxorus. Aaaaaaaaand, of course, in my search for a Drifblum I run into a shiny Poke. It was a shiny Vibrava, which is pretty cool. It's Timid (urgh), with IV's: 22/10/25/20/20/15 (urgh), but oh well, I'm probably going to use it and love it in the end anyway.

Hope this doesn't mess up my "luck" for my Venipede hunt, though.

I wonder that too sometimes, like with my squirtle thats way over the odds, I think that maybe my shiny Gligar means I wont get Squirtle this month.....

Considering its Attack IV is 10 points lower than its SAtk IV and its Nature is Timid, I think you can successfully make it into a fully Special Flygon

ive decided to put the Axew hunt on hold(hes driving me crazy[dumb green scarfs...]), anyway since its friday i figured ill try sring the musharna...ive never sred a shiny before...hope i can...any advice?

edit: gligar has a little red(tongue) so might count for CH?

EDIT:...realized i HATE sring and switched to reing village bridge(yay finally double grass again!) :P

So I've been soft resetting for a shiny starter on heartgold for the second time. the first time took me around 8 days to get a shiny totodile on soulsilver and seeing as I had heart gold that needed playing I decided to soft reset for a shiny starter again. I started on Monday and today (Friday in my time zone) I got my second one a shiny tododile............
so I've transferred it to a different game and am now soft resetting again for one of the others hopefully and this time I will be keeping count.

My dad lended me his HeartGold, and he has A LOT of hacks and events. I will trade all his Pokémon over to hunt the Starters. I'm hoping to get a early one (Hoping for Totodile) so I can train and hunt Ho-oh and Lugia.

EDIT: The game crashes every time I soft Reset, so hard reset it is. But exited to try hunting like this.
