I was not expecting this to shine before Tyrogue but here it is! Ever since I saw Ash's Muk in the anime I've had this weird fixation for it. There's something I find really adorable about it and now I have a shiny one! But for the 4th time in a row my sync has failed! I was using a Adamant sync but it ended up with Jolly which definitely could have been worse but damn.. Adamant would have been nice. I'm still happy tho! Now I will be moving onto a SR hunt which will be Landorus.. Ever since I failed to get Mandibuzz on my Black 2 BQ I felt the need to complete an SR hunt to make up for it. So Landorus it is! Hopefully sync finally works for me this time, If I happen to get a shiny Landorus but it doesn't have adamant I may just SR over it and continue hunting for it. I really want a Adamant shiny Landorus-T lol. I notice alot of people have the shiny charm now.. Am I the only one who has no plans to obtain it lol? Anyways, good luck everyone!

Got my shiny Zorua this morning after only 959 eggs using Matsuda method Q 7 Q It is a male with bashful nature and Dark Pulse as egg move, and now nicknamed Ludwig ~!

Not to go off topic... But does anyone have predictions or excpectations for Gen 6? I have been hunting my Ruby game. Looking for a manectric, tentacool, aron, and/or shroomish. Mostly manectric hunting; nearing 200 RE's for him, 40 for aron, 80 for shroomish, and 120 for tentacool. XD

I think the gen 6 shinies are going to be one of a kind for us shiny hunters. I think the 3D effect would make it much more thrilling to RE for shinies instead of MM or SR. But I o hope they dont make it again easier to get shinies because they will lose their value even more.

And if I may ask, why are you hunting on ruby? aren't RBE the worst games to shiny hunt on?(no offence ofcourse)

That's Emerald and because of the broken RNG you can't SR shinies on it.
R/S are unaffected but will become that way similarly when their batteries dry.

Hey there, thought I should probably join here, as I'm back in the game so to speak! I've been Pokémon-ing for as long as it's been about, and a three-week holiday from uni and hype for Generation VI were all that was needed to get me wanting to start shiny hunting properly for the first time! I have many shinies, but mostly through (potentially dubious) trades from way back when.

But I digress. I wanna get me some battle-worthy shinies of my very own on Black 2 with my time off, but I wish this Shiny Charm wasn't such a pain in the neck to get! I imagine MM will be the method of choice for ensuring IVs and natures and such, so the only issue now is to get to a position where I can start hunting! And choose what I want to hunt of course...Krookodile's looking like a good idea at the moment I think! =) Your stories of success are spurring me on to getting this done, kudos to all of the many stories I've read!

My CH as been kind of slow due to my finals, but I have managed to hatch a few eggs a day. Right now I'm up to 600 eggs hatched but Smoochum still refuses to shiny. Oh well, hopefuly I'll get this done before January ends.

Hey everybody, haven't been on the forums in a while. Congratz on any shinies since last post!

IF there are still shinies in Gen VI (most likely), I'll be SRing Fennelix. Or I think it's called that.

I haven't hunted anything recently because at school we're having a "WWII Day". One of the teachers brought in a siren and we where pretty much screaming. -w-'.

Back to topic... I did some SRs on Turtwig and some REs on Mareep.

Community Hunt Complete!!!! After only 600 eggs I got my beautiful baby Togepi today! In other news I also got my Shiny Latias after 1600 SR's yesterday as well! My shiny charm has been very good to me in 2013 ^.^ Keep up the great work everyone and congrats to all the new shiny pokes everyone has gotten over the past couple of days. For those of you with long hunts keep at it and don't give up. For my next hunt I will most likely be going for Registeel.

On a side note, this was my very first MM shiny ever, and after hatching over 1400 other eggs with MM (and the shiny charm!) I was starting to doubt that I'd ever get a shiny out of it. I'm so happy it finally worked!

After 1,146 RE with the shiny charm in Giant Chasm I caught a shiny relaxed ditto! 4th hunt with the shiny charm to go under the odds. I know Ditto is not a terrible valuable shiny or anything but it does have a cool shiny sprite and I'm still pleased with it. Photo 149.jpg

I am still working on that 4th Eevee. Hopefully that thing shines soon so that I can celebrate the 1/2 way mark! Iirc, I am working on Box 301-330 or Box 331-360. So I am still early in the hunt egg wise, but I do believe that I am around 1,700ish REs for it on my other game (w/ shiny charm) so I am hoping t o get 1, maybe 2, little white Eevees.

I've temporarily given up after 2 weeks of egg hatching and no shiny Venonat. I think I'll complete all the pokestar strange ending movies first, and then return to my eggs.
I wonder if gen 5 pokemon can be transferred to 6? I've spent so much time collecting shinies on my gen 5 game and I really don't want all that hunting to go to waste in nine month's time...

Wow, congrats on all the new shinies, guys. And I see a couple of other people have got their shiny charms lately, so congrats on those, too. ^.^

I'm now 310 eggs hatched in my DW Riolu hunt (so my shiny charm hasn't given me another super fast one yet, like my 11 egg shiny Eevee). It's even easier to hatch eggs, since I now have a level 10 nursery in my join avenue.

I'm also at 2920 SR for shiny Thundurus, just under 1000 encounters in my White 2 badge quest, and 25,100 encounters in my Heart Gold badge quest... (I was thinking of doing all 16 badges in my HG badge quest, but I'm starting to go off the idea... @_@ )
