Sprite wise? I like Meowth's Green sprite! And Mew's Yellow sprite is very cute too. But of course Slowbro's sprites are badass.

R/B Pikachu was such a little chubster I can't help but want to hug it.
Them Charmander IMO had the coolest sprite out of the starters which is why I chose it
Even Grimer I'm fond of because it.looks.so.happy lol

Golbat...nobody will ever forget Golbat O.O

I liked the Charmander and the Dragonite sprites. Mewtwo looked pretty cool too.

The only ones I really liked were Lapras, Mewtwo and Articuno.

I am okay with most Generation I designs, they don't really look that bad... Of course there were some pretty unoriginal and boring designs, but the same goes to every generation. That said, the designs I like the most are: Bulba/Ivy/Venusaur, Vulpix/Ninetales, Butterfree, Pidgeotto/Pidgeot, Pikachu/Raichu, Dragonair, Lapras, Vaporeon, Bird Trio and Mew.

Blue's Cloyster and Haunter for sure. The older sprites looked a lot more mischievous, so they had more character to me back then.

I kinda miss the older designs when looking at the new. Like, Vulpix vs Fennekin, I totally think Vulpix looks better.

My own opinion, of course, but there it is.

I'm gonna say it now. Ninetales is the most regal beast that will ever exist. Arcanine a close runner-up.

Also, Red/Blue Meowth sprite was adorable.

I don't mind the front sprites from Yellow, but Gyarados is one of the few Red/Blue ones I like

    I loved the Gastly/Haunter/Gengar line in R/B/Y.
But, Kabutops is probably the coolest pokemon going imo and Kabuto's sprite was the cutest thing ever. uwu

I have to say in yellow pikachu is the best. Then maybe pidgey and nidoran.

    Help my dragons.

Hey I'm making my own game sort of like the original Zelda game. If anyone would like to PM me graphics preferably 16X16 or 32X32, that would be great.

Yep, the Kabuto line's my favorite fossil line, and (I believe) the only line in any of my teams (as shown in my siggy, that lucky team's my Red version )
Currently not playing any Pokemon Games, you can check my Backloggery for games that I AM playing, if you're interested:

If I'm playing a Pokemon game, I'll have my signature display the game I'm playing, current team, and badge number.

For me, the following Pokémon had good front-sprites in Pokémon Blue: Sandslash, Nidoking, Clefable, Vileplume, Persian, Arcanine, Poliwhilrl, Alakazam, Tentacruel, Slowpoke, Farfetch'd, Muk, Onix. Drowzee, Hypno, Krabby, Kingler, Jolteon, Tauros, Lapras, Omastar, Snorlax, and Mew.
I feel like the "Gen. 1 Pokémon Prince of the Midwest". Currently, I competitively play English Gen. 1 and English Gen. 2 Pokémon games, because Gen. 3 and later on is not worth my time. I also do not use NetBattle at the moment.

Well there aren't bad designs in gen 1 imo. Arcanaine has some magic.
