I think its plays more in favor of showing Snivy is strong then Rioulo being weak.

Or, it could just mean Riolu's tired from the Unfezant battle. I seriously doubt Ash's Snivy is more of challenge then Bianca's Emboar

Rioulo beat Emboar due to agility not brute power, if Snivy is more agile I dont why she wouldn't give him more problems.

I already used an example from combat sports "styles make figths" so while a pokemon can be stronger then the other at any given time with a good counter and it doesn't need to be a type counter, pokemon have diferent characteristics but we will see by the time the episode airs.

I doubt Snivy's gonna do anything to Lucario other than a few attacks that dont work... Lucario should just beat her with a Aura Sphere and then go on to lose to Pikachu.

That's ridiculous... your claim would mean that anything that can out maneuver Emboar would automatically claim victory. Pretty sure Riolu secured victory because of the initial damage Emboar took against Samurott.

Not completely but it does restore some health.

I'm not claiming anything, ingame we have stats, we have the speed stat if you attack imagine the pokemon life is the same, you can beat said pokemon before he beats you, Pikachu beats things many times due to his speed.

That's how I think Snivy will gain the upper hand against Riolu. But, it somehow breaks out of it.

Back in Kanto Brock said that Pokemon still remain tired after evolution. Maybe they don't follow that logic anymore or it is the HP gained from evolution which they exaggerate.

Snivy vs Riolu is best scenario for evolution. Riolu takes neutral damage from grass type move but on evolution it starts resisting them. Kind of justify the evolution.
