ok when i was reading i thought Brock should've lectured Ash but then after May's Flashback she says that she just remembered to keep those she loved close which i am pretty sure made brock "Oh crap, this is not good"

Great chapter, took a few 180's which kept me guessing, Bring on Chapter six

you actually make a good point. brock is upset with may AND ash. i guess he's struggling to control this situation and may tends to be more available to talk to. but that gives me an idea for chapter six. I'm glad you liked chapter five, though, and the next chapter will definitely have some 180's

Hm, I didn't really see Brock the type to push on anyone or yell. I think his the type of kind big brother that watches over Ash and May and treats them like his own siblings, so seeing him act like that was odd for me.

you make a good point about brock. I guess i haven't gone into detail on the explanation for his behavior, and i know what the explanation is, but I just haven't really put it in the fanfic, so I'll try to squeeze that in next chapter. thanks for the good feedback, and good luck in the shipping oscars

If you are going to explain anything, make sure its a chapter behind or explain it the chapter. Always explain a strange event before writing the event.
