I just wanted to say a few things. First, I have an ongoing fanfic, a very short one at that, and chapter 6/10 I just posted so I don't really care what you do about it, but refreeze suggested I tell you guys.

Second, I will automatically forfeit the tourney to Alby if we cannot battle before saturday. We've contacted each other, but we're never on with each other, so we can't work anything out. So thanks for understanding, but this trip I'm going on is going to be one helluva good time.

BTW, it's to Costa Rica, in case anyone was curious. I actually may have Internet there, so I can keep in touch, but I'm not even sure about that.

And yes, Stunfisk is all powerful, and no, it is not useless. Discharge is like Scald, only with Paralysis, and it can stall with Toxic too

I'd personally go for Justified given the opportunity, as it grants an immunity, but I can't speak for what's objectively better.

Justified isn't an immunity, you still take damage.

Yeah, Justified doesn't remove Dark-type damage, just boosts your attack with it. Common failure strategy for Doubles is the Beat Up + Justified combo, but it has mix results

They're both still iffy, I mean, steadfast would be great if flinching were more common, but it's not. And Justified would be great if it granted an immunity, which it apparently doesn't.

So at the end of the day, Gallade looks ugly and you're mistaken for wanting to use one.

While we're on the subject of the meta, what move should I get for my Venasaur? I have Earthquake, Sludge Bomb, Giga Drain, and Solarbeam. I want to get rid of earthquake because it's a physical attack and I EV trained it in Special Attack, but I don't know any moves that would be helpful for it.

Earthquake is the only good thing to use against the likes of Heatran imo. Other than that, try Growth, and just have an anti-Fire/Steel type in your team.

Guys, this is bad. I've tried multiple times to contact Albyness about the tournament and he only responded once. He responded at a time that was inconvenient for me and practically hasn't been on since. I'm leaving very early tomorrow morning and will not be able to battle after then (I'll be able to contact you guys from the hotel room but no PO). I have to withdraw from the tournament. Justified, especially if you have a speedy Gallade. If you can predict the dark move and get the switch in then you could possibly sweep, especially if it isn't doing much damage and for some strange reason you're running a mean look, encore set in a double battle or something.. Steadfast is kind of useless as fake out is the only real flinch move which you're going to be affected by unless you're playing OU where you might find Jirachi and Togekiss but otherwise useless.
