Well, i have always wondered where Hammer Bros. keep their endless supply of hammers. But to answer your question: yes i think they can be naked if they take off those clothes. Though i seriously do NOT want to be there when they do. .____.

Pokemon have gender Female/Male to reproduce, All of them except for those who are inanimated objects. With that said, They can be naked, Naked as showing off their parts if thats what you mean by naked.. To begin with, I'm assuming they're always naked, But covering up their parts with fur or something...

I know it sounds weird saying this, but aren't all pokemon naked. Maybe Sawk's and Throh's robes are part of them, like loose flaps of skin or something.

There's a Breeder in Nimbasa City you can challenge on Tuesdays and Fridays, who gives you a Rare Candy upon defeating him. Since Breeders can be challenged over and over again if you revisit that area, you can very legimately get infinite Rare Candies.

My guess is that they have more robes underneath each robe.

I remember reading something on the internet which stated that the lake trio was based of the Triforce Of Courage from the Legend Of Zelda series. Is this true?

^ No, that is not true. Wisdom is the only common trait between the Triforce and the Lake Trio (though it's listed as Knowledge for Uxie), unless you want to count Power as Will or Courage as Emotion. But the Lake Trio supposedly, according to Sinnoh myth, gave humanity will, emotions, and knowledge. I suppose the Triforce is just only the life-force for Hyrule, but I don't know about it, so don't take my word for the Triforce.

Uh... no, it was a Nidorino Gengar hypnotized. And I'm pretty sure it was a Gengar you see first, if you don't count anything from the theme song.

Here's a trivia question, I suppose if the OP pretty much says "Anything goes as long as you can prove it correct":

How exactly does a Slowpoke evolve into a Slowking?

I believe they're based on forest spirits at least by name anyway (Elves, Sprits & Pixies) which according to Folklore are only visible to children Hence why Ash, Dawn and Brock can see them (Brock is 15)...of course that could all just be pure coincidence.

For Pokemon that based off animals and appears as animals, I don't have any problems seeing them as furry, fluffy, rough, slimy or scaly little critters. But in the case of humanoid Pokemon, when an element of the design has an easily identifiable real life counterpart, and the final design itself does not make much of an effort to modify it, and the color scheme distinguishes it from the rest of the body, I'll take it as clothing rather than part of its biological body. So I do consider Throh and Sawk to be wearing clothes, and the same applies to Hitmonchan, Jynx, Machoke/Machamp's pants, Poliwhirl/Poliwrath's gloves. Pokemon which I don't consider to be wearing something would be Gardevior's and Gothitelle's line, since they're have a somewhat wholesome color scheme and streamlined the clothing-like design to be part of the body structure.

Some Pokemon have a variety of handheld accessories like Marowak's bones, Conkeldurr's concrete pillars. And then there're those with accessories on their bodies, like jewels, Blastoise's cannons, Garbodor's pipes. Some wear tiny clothing accessories, like Primeape's shackles, Poliwrath's gloves, Machamp's pants. Personally I like them, and feel that they enhance the concept that the Pokemon is trying to display. However, I'm not a fan of Pokemon that have the majority of their body structure covered by a clothing, and as you would have noticed by now, I don't think highly of Sawk and Throh's design.

I believe Fighting types utilizes humanoid designs the most often among all typings, replicating real life fighters. I'm not a fan of many of them actually, and would prefer to take a fighting monkey, dog, weasel, lizard, or even Emboar, over any of them.
The best evolutionary designs are brought about by a balance between change and consistency.

That's only if Pokemon breed through sexual means; they may not even have sex organs, since they are not depicted with any. There is a theory held by myself and others which states that when Pokemon breed, it is simply a matter of pooling the two Pokemon's energies together in order to materialize an egg.

Anyway, in response to the OP, I've always believed that those "clothes" are actually just their (very abnormal) skin.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't help but giggle when I read the title.

How did this... idea... come to mind now?

OT: Actually this is somewhat interesting. Are the clothes something attributed to genetics, as in are the clothes a part of the Pokemon and thus they can not remove them/they are born with them, or do they simply wear clothes because they can... Or something... I don't know, I can't really articulate my thoughts right now.

Default How do Pokemon make Eggs?

It is a mystery that has always surroundered my head around. How come Pokemon from different Egg Groups can make Eggs? I mean (and for obvious reasons) they don't have visible parts that allow them to do so. Do they do it like Nameks (aka an Egg born from the mouth) if so how the genes are mixed? Also and most importantly, how come Hybrid species don't appear?

It's one of the great mysteries of the Pokemon universe. But I know why hybrids don't exist. Muk and Gardevior are in the same egg group. Imagine a hybrid of them...*shudders*

It wouldn't make sense for them to have gender then.

As I just stated in another thread, I believe that two Pokemon can create an egg by pooling their energies together in order to materialize it, in a manner similar to that of the Arceus event, sans all the weird images of space, nature, and civilization. Speaking of, I believe that Arceus is capable of creating an egg on his own, as long as he has the Unown nearby to draw power from.

And on an obvious note, Pokemon refuse to do this if they are being observed.

They do the nasty behind our backs and make it like how any other reptile/bird/fish/insect would make an egg. Obviously, they have to have the parts in order for us to identify their genders. I imagine they probably have anatomy like birds if they can all lay eggs, or like platypi and echidnas for mammal-like Pokémon (or hell, they probably reproduce like the flatworm), but fandom is weird and make their own theories which either makes sense, or doesn't depending on the theory.

Sex, what else? Pokemon obviously make eggs the same way real life egg laying animals make eggs.

Personally, I kind of refuse to see all Pokemon as laying and hatching from eggs, in my head canon, all mammal based Pokemon give live birth like real mammals, while everything else lays eggs. Reason for this is because I believe it is unrealistic for non egg-laying creatures to lay eggs (I cannot say all mammals because of the platypus, which is the only egg laying mammal), yes, I know it's Pokemon, but still, I just see it as weird.
