I think I'll be ready to fight tomorrow. I found one of my old Brave Bronzors was sitting in my black version PC. That, and a few other things, made me mess with my originally intended team a bit.

Gyarados(Trained)/Dragonite(Trained)/Latios(Trained)/Haxorus(Trained)/Bronzong/Rhyperior.

You get penalized, and if you do enough rq's you are disqualified from the comp.

You get banned for just an hour.

I hit my desk out of nerdrage and it stalled my DS so i had to turn it off.

And you get banned for an hour for RQing. If you do that too much you will be disqualified from the ranking. But the problem is that that won't count as a win for the poor guy who was in fact winning and that's just unfair...

So nearly got my rank up to 1600 now. 2 wins and a loss this morning so far.
The loss was against Cheeryl from Singapore, came down to my Uxie and his Virizion in a sandstorm, he'd put a light screen up a few turns earlier which I'd forgotten about (face palms), the previous turn I'd protected so the sandstorm took out his Cloyster. So I went for Psychic hoping to take him down for the win, only stupid screen cut the damage significantly enough for him to leaf blade me to my doom!! Gutted, as thinking about it retrospectively if I'd protected again I probably would've stalled out the screen and could've wiped him out next turn (of course you never know if protect will fail 2nd time so it's all if's and but's) Oh well you live you learn!!

Having a decent tournament so far, won a lot more than I've lost but haven't been keeping track of my wins
Got smashed by some dude from Spain with an 1800+ ranking!!!
And really annoyed that could've had 3 more wins had it not been for RQers

Was his name Ruben by any chance? He's kinda a big name in VGCs, I think he won both the Autumn Friendly and the UK regionals twice. Though his second UK win was met with some controversy...


I just saw a pokémon animation I've never seen before. The guy sent out his Emboar, it kind of flashed and 1 star came up from its body and above its head (it was NOT the shiny animation). Is this some sort of animation that shows that the pokémon is his starter?
Didn't look like I'd beat him after I lost 2 pokémon early on due to a miss and crit, but I managed to get a MoxieMence sweep going after I set up a tailwind with Latios. I've been hesitant to use that strategy before because it involves 2 dragons on the field, but it worked brilliantly.

His Emboar is just a star in the PokeStar studios in Black/White 2. No other effects other than visual :P

I wished I joined this tournament, was afraid I didn't have a team I could use to play. Perhaps should have joined just so I could get the Custap Berry.

sigh, lucky f***, first ice beam, frozen, first hurricane, confused but got rid of it next turn, 2nd ice beam, frozen again, first thunder, paralyzed. Lost solely due to luck. F* this game!

I never payed much attention to her but now i only want to improve my team so i can use her more xDD

And yes i was talking to a friend who's in the tournament too and we were playing some games x)
Funny part... we got paired up once in the friendly, that was awesome xDD

Pokémon who manage to get a strange ending at Pokéstar Studios can get that Pokéstar shine. Try Brycen-Man returns, I managed to get my Sableye like that.

Currently W9-L4, just lost against a guy with a goodstuffs team (I hate those teams, they're all the same!!!) who defeated me out of a little hax and misprediction... I missed will-o-wisp, his Garchomp had the right berry, I missed a Megahorn, his Thundurus survided with 2% HP... bah Better luck next time.
