1. Standard SPPf rules apply.

2. Activity is very important for a clan. If you are inactive within the clan for 2 weeks or more (without prior notice), you will be removed. Activity is counted as either in the thread, or on the channel.

3. Smogon Tiers for on record clan battles will be standard. Other things (tournaments/challenges/achievements) may use different tiers so read carefully.

4. If there is an issue between two clan members, take it to VMs or PMs; no spamming the thread with it.

5. Speaking of spam, keep all posts on topic. If you need to discuss something else, take it to the PO Channel.

6. All battles are deemed to be 'on-record' automatically. If you wish to not have your battle counted, this must be agreed to by Turn 2 at latest. If this is not done, it is perfectly legal for the battle to count towards the ladder.

7. Be courteous to other people, both inside and out of the clan. Complaints about member behaviour will be dealt with seriously.

Everyone who joins the clan as recommended is immediately given 100 points. Those who are complete newcomers are given a rating after they have played 5 games with previously established members. As you begin to play other members in the clan, the amount you gain in rating is directly proportional to your chance of winning.

Your gain for winning a match is 5 + ((opponent’s rating – your rating) ÷ 40) rounded to the nearest decimal, and your loss for losing is 5 - ((opponent’s rating – your rating) ÷ 40). Gains and losses both cannot exceed 9 and -9, nor go below 1 and -1.

For example, if Gary (120 points) was to play Ash (80 points), for winning he would gain 5 - (120 - 80) ÷ 40 which is equivalent to 4 points and Ash would lose the same amount. However, if Gary was to lose, Ash would gain 6 points for winning and Gary lose 6.

In the interest of competitiveness, every two months, the difference between your individual rating and the median rating is halved, ensuring that there are no runaways. If you play no on record matches within this period, your rating is halved.

For those who start as Recruits, rating changes are determined differently. After Recruits play five games with their opponents, they are awarded a performance rating based on their wins and losses and who they have played. Because Recruits attain no rating until 5 games have been played, the rating change for those who play Recruits is always 5 for a win and -5 for a loss until the Recruits attain a rating at game 5.

To keep us busy, every 2-3 months we will hold a Community Create A Team. However this will also be a Lost Hero challenge. On all the CCAT's we work on, at least 1 member of the team must have 2% or lower usage on Smogon for the month that the CCAT is started.
