IMO he needs something like maybe Dusclop with Eviolite or like other suggested, Porygon2 @ Eviolite (but that'd make him pretty fighting weak).

To fit his theme I think an Elektross will look pretty cool for him. Scizor or Manetric or even better, Electrode will definitely fit him too1

For the Rotom thing I do agree with you.

As for the others, I quite like the Electrode idea, and I have already stated that I liked the Idea of Porygon-2/Z.
I love Scizor and I can see the positives of having Elektross, but I still prefer the idea of a completely genderless team, to me it expresses how much he is of the pure sciences (if that makes any sense to anyone else)

I like his actual team as well, but Beheeyem just dosn't seem to fit due to having a gender and Magneton and Magnezone are from the same evolutionary line.
Other then that I would leave his team how it is.

Who do you ship Colress with and why? (lol, yes I went there xD)
I know my favorite Colress shipping isn't very conventional but I like to ship him with Skyla (I am a fan-girl so best not ask how my mind works)
I guess my main reasoning would be that in the new Plasma Gale series of cards Colress has a rare feature card, and Skyla has a matching one :3

Elysian this is your 2nd strike for the exact same reason

Besides that I can understand shipping Colress with Fennel, it keeps ties with a Science theme.
Also it brings forward an almost Good scientist falls in love with bad scientist.
They have there many differences in personality as well, and I have always believed that a personality clash is key to a good shipping.
So what I am saying is to me Colress x Fennel although looking matching on the outside they are really very different people, this is why I also like this shipping :3

His team is well-built as well, as he only uses Steel-types, which gives him a certain feel, if you know what I mean. Colress is one of the coolest members that I think Game Freak has come up with in the Pokemon series. Oh yeah, and Colress is a boss. :3
