Episode 2. Now the show feels like it's getting into it's groove.
Also **** you to whoever did the part with Tamako skipping in the OP. I can't help but feel it's a nod to Clannad, a tortuous one at that.
Edit: wait wat it exists?

...and a toilet seat cover.
That's actually not surprising at all, here's another example of a real life location being faithfully recreated in anime.
I find it pretty funny that the Valentine's episode was based more on the capitalist aspect of the holiday than love. Can't wait for the Christmas episode.

I heard that North High(The school in the Haruhi Suzumiya series) in the anime was based on a real life school as well. It's a shame how I read only the Light Novels and lacked time to witness KyoAni's architectural skills.
The Prince voiced by Hiro Shimono will play an important role, right? I mean, Kaynethbird is his pet.
A lot of the areas in Haruhi are based off of Nishinomiya (where the author of the LNs is from), Kobe and Osaka.
Spoiler:- Examples:
You will find stuff like this in pretty much anything else animated by KyoAni as well.
Fun fact, Grave of the Fireflies is also set in Nishinomiya.

Okay episode 3 was the best one yet. I couldn't get enough of Dera constantly hitting on Shiori. That, and Shiori was super cute. Usually I find the shy girl boring in most anime but that bathroom mirror scene was perfect.

Seriously you guys:
(made these today)
...and a toilet seat cover.
Well, they do recycle their motifs a lot, (there's a wacky girl and a mundane guy who doesn't know what to make of her! There are some girls: they do stuff sometimes!) but they tend to vary the execution of those motifs, in terms of tone, themes and art direction. So yeah, they're kind of repetitive but also kind of varied too.

Next episode is aboutloli AzusaAnko.
...and a toilet seat cover.
She likes to be called "An", Not Anko.
But anyway, An was so moe in this episode and she likes the megane kid.
