    Default Question about a external hard drive.

    Recently I bought this hard drive for my Wii U:

    At first it was working fine and dandy, but then my Wii U started experiencing freezing. Is there any solution to this problem? Is my hard drive messed up? I heard somebody saying something about a Y Cable, but I honestly don't know anything about that.

    Nintendo recommends hard drives that have a power supply other than the USB port. All I could think of that might be causing this problem.
