Which pokemon(s)do you wanted Ash to catch or be included on Professor Oak's Lab?

Once you had thought about one pokemon or some pokemon that should love being owned by Ash in the anime. For me, I would love that Ash owns a Arcanine and a Lucario. Both are awesome pokemon for me, but I understand that everyone has different opinions. So everyone can reply here sharing your opinions. I know that Ash has a lot of fire types, but for me a Arcanine is a very good pokemon for Ash, same as Lucario. In the 2 episodes of the kidnapped Riolu, I would love if Ash owns a Riolu, and I though about it, because they made a good bond each other by using aura to communicate. So I will be glad hearing your opinions .

The writers love Lucario too much for it to ever lose onscreen. If Ash got something like that they would have to let Ash win, which is unacceptable and mutually exclusive.

You have a point on the writers love Lucario, but I think Lucario will lose sometime maybe with Kotetsu when he evolves his riolu.
Well, I know that Ash loses, because he is dumb. But when he get older, he might get smarter and writers think about Ash catching a Riolu.
But Who knows??....

- abra -> kadabra
- aerodactyl

- nuzleaf -> shiftry
- vigoroth
- bagon

- riolu -> lucario

- pawniard

Any starter he hadn't caught instead belonging to his friends. Torchic and Mudkip, for example. Like it was in Johto and Kanto series.

I don't care much for captures for Ash since it can be any Pokemon that the writers would have him w/...I prefer evolutions to make things exciting tho. BTW there's already a thread relating to Ash and any buddies 's Pokemon regarding captures/evolutions.

You're saying some funny stuff here. Since when does Ash get older. You're more likely to see Axew go from annoying damsel in distress to Pokemon Powerhouse.

Flygon
Armaldo
Magmar
and have Gible evolve all the way to Garchomp

Each can have various movesets. good power, still agile as that is Ash's battle style. Still cool calm and collected.
