    Default Yugioh Top 10 duelists

What's your opininon of the top 10 duelists in all of the Yugioh series? Please no bashing characters. And/or other people's opinons. Also please list ten chacacters, If you like Bandit Keith fine but at least list nine others since the topic is top 10 duelists, not just who you think is number one.

    1. Yugi (King of Games) and Jaden (Only lost two duels, star student of Duel Acdemy where students are trained to play this game to keep the universe in check. plus was on equal footing with Yugi in their duel) (Draw)
    2. Kaiba (Already stated to be one of the best in cannon)
    3. Joey (Also stated to be one of the best in cannon)
    4. Jack (He beat Yusei)
    5.Akiza (She also beat Yusei)
6.Yusei (Only lost about three duels)
7.Zane (Former star student of Duel Academy)
    8. Chazz (Was able to get into North Academy)
    9. Kite (Continously beats Yuma and Astral even while they're using the power of Zexal)
    10. Astral (Is the real reasons behind all of Yuma's wins, plus he almost always has a plan in mind)

    Opinions Regarding the Pokémon:
    1. Anime: OS > AG > BW > DP > XY
    2. Movies: OS = AG > DP = BW = XY
    3. English Dub: 4Kids Entertainment/TAJ Productions (EP001-EP276; AG001-AG020) = 4Kids Entertainment (AG021-AG145) = TPCi/SDI Media (The Origin)/Very Good > TPCi/DuArt Film & Video (BW)/Poor > PUSA/TPCi/TAJ Productions (AG146-AG192)/Very Poor > TPCi/DuArt Film & Video (XY) = PUSA/TPCi/TAJ Productions/DuArt Film & Video (DP)/Atrocious
    4. Games: XY > BW1 > BW2 > RSE > GSC > Y > HGSS > DP > RBG
    5. Pokémon: The Origin: Excellent: 93/100.
    6. Manga: RS > RB > Y > FRLG > XY > BW > E > DP > GSC

1: Yusei (near-perfect duelling record, one loss only)
2: Yugi (the King of Games)
    3: Kaiba
4: Zane (the only duelist Jaden never defeated)
    5: Jaden
    6: Jack (strong but reckless)
    7: Joey
    8: Crow
    9: Yuma + Astral
10: Kite (even though Yuma hasn't defeated him yet he still didn't the WDC)

If by "top duelists" we're just rating based on which characters we liked the best, then here's my top 10:

    1. Atem - He was awesome and had a cool deck. Also, nostalgia.
    2. Kaiba - He was the best Yu-Gi-Oh! rival tbh.
    3. Pegasus - He was a weirdo but his Toon deck was interesting.
    4. Rafael - I loved his Guardian monsters, plus his backstory was sad.
    5. Yubel - She was the best villain in all of GX imo.
    6. Jesse - His Crystal Beast deck was cool, but mostly I liked his design.
    7. Akiza - She's my waifu favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! female.
    8. Crow - His Blackwing deck was actually good in real life.
    9. Shark - I just think he's the most developed character in Zexal.
    10. Quattro - Lots of fan service and his Gimmick Puppets slay.

Am I the only one who doesn't think Bandit Keith was a good duelist? lol.

I personally hated that guy, and was happy to see Joey/Jonouchi wipe the floor with him at Duelist Kingdom, and same goes for when Yugi beat him when he was disguised as a Rare Hunter and set the place ablaze where Joey and Tristan/Honda rescued Yugi from the fire while helping him free the Millennium Puzzle from the chains it was in.

    He was funny, though.

Top 10 on who dueled the best. Hmm.

    1. Atem: Let's be honest, his deck's all over the place but he always wins. As Battle City came into play, his deck got much better and a theme of Dark monsters came in.
    2. Yugi: He beat Atem. That counts for something, right? XD
    3. Seto Kaiba: His deck was more balanced then Yugi's as it usually support Blue-Eyes being summoned early but it could be all over the place as well.
    4. Jaden Yuki: His deck can either be really good or bad, depending on what cards he got, but in the anime it was always good and Elemental Heroes were awesome. To bad they are almost obsolete now.
    5. Zane: Reason I didn't rank him above Jaden is because his Cyber Dragon deck is insanely powerful but if you got Magic Cylinder...that would ruin Zane's day when he summons monsters with 16000 attack points and higher.
    6. Pegasus: Toon World was somewhat broken when it first came into the game. It's much more stable now.
    7. Jack Atlas: Powerful Duelist with a great deck and strategies.
    8. Akiza: Same as Jack. I think she's the best female duelist in the series so far. Too bad she got replaced by Crow and met the same fate as every female in Yugioh
    9. Yusei Fudo: I realize I should rank him higher as he like never loses, but his deck doesn't interest me as much.
    10. Joey Wheeler: Just because he's number 10, doesn't mean I think he's a bad duelist. He's improved and always entertains.

Edit: I haven't seen Zexal much. I'm waiting for the series to conclude and then I shall watch it all at once, that is why none of them are on my list.
Double Edit: Arrgh! I forgot Marik Ishtar! He'd probably be somewhere on this list too.

He was a cheater and probably my least favorite character overall because of his general unpleasantness. He had no redeemable qualities which I guess might be a bit refreshing to some fans given that some of the other characters who were evil were redeemed at some point, but I never saw him as a good duelist. I'm glad he lost so many duels on-screen.

In what world is aki a better duelist than yusei? We're talking about the guy who took down 3 duelists in one turn. And single handedly defeated team unicorn after aki screwed up and lost with stardust dragon not to mention the duels vs team Ragnarok and ZONE?

Same here: another theory I have about why people liked him is the way he was portrayed in the Abridged Series with his references to "America" and such, I guess.

Yeah, I know: no logical sense there, but since LK did it, it must be good to them. *shrugs*

Guy was a complete jerk and a cheat like you said with no redeeming qualities to him whatsoever, IMO.

Bandit Keith is somewhat forgettable for me. After his duel with Yugi where he was brainwashed by Marik, he ran away and we never see him again. I use to wonder what happened to him but he was such a minor character in the Yugioh world and while his battle with Joey was actually really action packed and probably my second favorite Duelist Kingdom duel after Yugi vs Pegasus, he was just not that important and there are plenty of better duelist that came after him.

Bandit Keith didn't become a A-list character until Little Kuriboh made him into a internet star with the "In America" thing, which I love so much. Without Little Kuriboh, Bandit Keith would still be a C-list character.
