Welcome.

I hope I'm not the only person who has seen enough of Scizor,Salamence and the rest of their OU kin.

Because it's painfully repetitive: identical teams,identical strategies...where did the variety all go?

Within this league house skilled specialists of the unusual and unexpected,whilst holding special tournaments with unique rules to test the skills of even the most experienced trainers.Do you have what it takes to prosper here?

Defeat five members of the Cult to try for the Renegade Crown.Victories do not have to be consecutive.
However,losing to the current champion will reset your challenge.
(Note that the league does not have a champion yet,so this position is up for grabs by anyone!)

Spoiler:- Current Cult :

Anybody may participate in our tournaments: all you have to do is post your sign up in the thread(title it "*")or preferably VM one of our admin(such as myself) to await your acceptance.
We will start with:

The Little Cup Triple Tournament (TBC)
In this tournament,you must use six pokemon that have not yet evolved.
-This is a 5th generation tournament,so use the latest evolutionary lines when building your teams.
Pikachu,chansey and other pokemon who have gained pre-evolutions since their release aren't allowed.
There are also special exceptions,including Scyther and Sneasel
-Pokemon that don't evolve at all also aren't allowed.
-Maximum level of each party member=lv5.Please remember to adjust when using PO
-As a side note,participating in the tournament isn't necessarily about competing to win: real victory lies in competing to break the mold that's been built around you.
-ITEM CLAUSE IN EFFECT (no duplicate items please)
We encourage you to be creative when Team Building!

Spoiler:- Participants:

-The results of any relevant battle must be recorded in transcript or video format for reference

-The "Pokemon Online"and "Pokemon Showdown" simulators allow the quick assembly of teams.
Pokemon Online may be necessary for some of our tournaments.
Both are free and have multiple advantages over wifi, so what reason is there not to?
(This isn't to say you can't use wifi, but treat this as a warning).

No worries:as long as it's on the first page it's still convenient to view.

I've decided on a couple of members for the triple team already-and I'm starting to see a strategy developing too.

It is a bit early,but I hope we get a few sign ups tomorrow.

We have a week for the word to get around though,so anything could happen at the moment.

Question: are we going ANY unevolved pokemon or are we going by Smogon's Little Cup tier?

Smogon's for now-I need to check how great the stat differences are for lv5s(they shouldn't be too diverse at such an early stage).

Also,I think it will be wise if we move the tourney one week ahead-because starting on Saturday 19th will give us plenty of time to prepare.

Edit:Finished a trial team on PO.Nowhere to test it though.

i personally think that we should give more time for people to get their teams for the tourney. as well as wait for more people to join and the word gets around etc.
so right now the tourney will consist of just us renegades... ._.
thats only five people... i would aim to get 10 people in the tourney before you start it.

Out of curiosity,was next Saturday (the 19th) too little time?

i think that we shouldn't start it until we get enough people.
we just start it once we have a good amount of people. but start it on a weekend please... also this is just me but i have a 4 day weekend where i am gonna be able to play pokemon once i finish studying... so i get a long time from that :P
