I don't mind a rather bulky design (like this fakemon), but I will be very disappointed if Froakie end up being another slowish and/or pure Water starter.

well we are long overdue for a naturally fast water type, sharpedo is only fast due to ability, and keldeo is legendary so I don't count him/her/it

I left out swift swim Users, because it is also due to ability not, natural speed.

115? Better be 120 as fast as Sceptile. It will be OU if it's Water/Fighting.

With 115 it will be faster than the other five water starters to begin with, but yeah, the faster the better.

With a high speed stat, decent attack stats (115+ in either Att or Sp. Att... or both) and a nice offensive typing (/Fighting, /Electric or even /Ice), Froakie's evo would be the boss.

Here are my starter final evo deisgn ideas:

Chespin: Body styles like typhlosion and linoone, sharp claws and a prickly back. The tail would be long and covered in thorns like a rose stem. Focuses on Def, Att, and Speed.

Fennekin: Body Style like suicune and absol, very slim with a comically big head. but still cute. Ear tufts would smoothly wave back for a more swift looking design. A really fluffy and large tail to balance out the head and the fur tufts on it's legs become bushier. Focuses on Sp. Def, Sp. Att, and Speed.

Froakie: Body style like Sceptile and Toxicroak, pretty skinny with very long arms and legs. The foam will cover the majority of it's top half (imagine emboar but replace fire and black markings with foam). Large beaming eyes that stand out. Focuses on Sp. Att, HP, and speed

I'd imagine all 3 of them to share the same speed stat.

water starters generally have torrent. But, it could have swift swim as a hidden ability.

What a terrible HP base... But with 105 attack and 120 speed it would be worth. I guess.

It's a better guess, but I hate having such a sucker defense while having a sucker HP. Hum, not too much difference but swapping sp.def over HP may be a good thing.

Well, I was thinking on Froakie's evo as glass cannon, so HP and defenses wouldn't matter as much as its attack and speed stats.
Also, I think higher HP is definitely better than 'decent' defenses.

Oh well, too bad it will probably end up being one more bulky/slow water starter. :P

I'd like to see Froakie go mixed personally. 82 | 92 | 75 | 100 | 70 | 111. I reduced the speed because after 110 speed there's not many pokemon left to beat in terms of speed. The focus of its offences depends on his final type. If he ends up as Water/Fighting then I switch round the offences. If pure Water then I'll just stick with what's here now, or maybe lower Attack by 20 points and put them in Spatk and Spdef respectively.
