I don't want to be "that guy but Kitsune and kyuubi are the same thing I believe. a Kitsune as it matures get more tails, the maximum tails it can have is nine. a Kyuubi is a nine tailed Kitsune, Hence the name "Kyuubi no Kitsune" but I could be wrong.

I just realized that Chespin reminds me of Finn from Adventure Time.

He looks more like a Happy Tree Friend lol. This is why I think his type may be Grass/Dark, though I would love it to be Grass/Steel.

Usually ghost type pokemon are ghost since the beginning (with the only exception of snorunt. I wouldn't count shedinja cause it's not actually an evolution, more a standalone pokemon). But look at snorunt and nincada they are ghostly someway. Now look at Fennekin, it's a fox, a fox you can clearly touch.. You really imagine its body could disappear in its 3rd evo?? And its colours, shining gold and red, not exactly ghost colours, come on..

No no, I meant Froakie will be Fighting, which I'd love. ^^ I think Fennekin will be Fire/Psychic and Chespin to be Grass/Dark.

Indeed. They used two attacks each, one for their First type, and then three other attacks that really seems to be Psychic, Fighting and Dark. Big Coincidence. XD

I do hope we do get another counter triangle like in gen IV thats still fairly unique since its only been done once, I don't want just pure fire water and grass, it's so bland if they go the pure route they better have very diverse move-pools and not just great but AWESOME stats or the hidden abilities available right away, it shouldn't be a chore to use my starter!

there are plenty of single typed pokemon that have diverse move-pools like golduck

I will certainly pick Fennekin. That is if it won't get a fightning type as it's second type.

Chespin (grass) > Chespin evo 1 (grass) > Chespin evo 2 (grass/dark) = leafblade, solar beam, foul play, night slash, new move deep claw (dark)?
Fennekin (fire) > Fennekin evo 1 (fire/psychic) > Fennekin evo 2 (fire/psychic) = fire blast, psychic, dream eater, snore, new move flare claw (fire)?
Froakie (water) > Froakie evo 1 (water/fighting) > Froakie evo 2 (Water/Fighting)= hydro pump, close combat, sky uppercut, water pulse, new water move that poisons the enemy.
