I had a bit of a day dream earlier (as ya do) that if Fennekin did become a fire fighting.. I imagined it would be like a cross between lucario and mienshao.. But only like mienshao in as much as those sleeves things.. And I didn't like it at all... I so hope she's anything but fire fighting... Just fire, fire psychic or... Fire rock or even like fire normal would be preferable than fire fighting at this point...

When I watched the trailer first time round I was like... "That's totally psywave!" But the more I look it over the more I think it COULD be growl... It's either growl or psywave I think for sure..

When you watch closely at the very end of that attack, Kirlia's model is clearly taking damage so it cannot be a stat-inducing move like Growl.

If Fennekin evolves and becomes Fire/Fighting I will scream...
So I'm kind of stuck between Fennekin and Chespin. I think I posted here before saying I was going for Fennekin, but that was before I took into account the possibility that it will be another Fire/Fighting.
I hope that Fennekin is Fire/Psychic or maybe Fire/Ghost, which would both be a little weird, but really awesome! xD

Not gonna be a party pooper, but in the 3D battling games, Pokemon have flinched to non-damaging moves before. I don't remember if this has been carried over to Battle Revolution though. But, here's hoping for Fire/Psychic.

Oh my god... I've just done a bit of research... Well not really lol more of a mind refresher(?) anyway, I have my ds and YouTube and I watched the trailer, I watched Fennekin's part then I used psywave in game... I'm pretty sure that's gonna be psywave! Personally...

I also watched chespins bit since everyone says "duh it's aerial ace! There's no way it's night slash!" -_- ok if you watch aerial ace and night slash back to back in white 2... And way h chespins attack... Omg... It's got to be night slash! There's no way it's aerial ace! Like oh em gee guys! Lol yeah aerial ace had like yellow sparks and no change to background, night slash had a dark background with purple sparks... So... Yeah VERY similar to chespins second move ^^ so I officially! Am saying in my opinion...

Chespin will become grass/dark
Fennekin will be fire/psychic
Froakie will be... I still don't know from the trailer, it's not like there's any fists in his attack, just fast movements...

I know a lot of people have been saying this for a long time but I'm just saying I will be BEYOND SHOCKED if Chespin is grass/dark or at least learn night slash anyway..

It looks like Froakie uses a Fighting move in the trailer, which means the final or second evolutions of the starters could be Fire/Psychic, Grass/Dark and Water/Fighting, like Bearcubxox said. I really hope Fennkin turns out to be a Fire/Psychic type, because it seems highly possible and it doesn't really scream fire/Fighting to me. Also, I think it would be great if there was a second 'triangle' at play.

I think it's also worth mentioning that there was an interview a while back when this potential new "bonding method" was talked about, that there had always been an interest in incorporating the Dark/Psychic/Fighting relationship into the starters, so it seems like that's the typing we'll be getting.

Aerial Ace is the one with a dark and red background just like the move Chespin used.

Night Slash has no background change at all, and it's red sparks, not purple.

Been my second choice if froakie goes fat
Chespin red end on his tail really won't stop boggling my mind
It could do so many things, although his hat is his prodominate feature
The red on his tail is very intriguing
Ur could possibly:
Become a spike mace like a conker.
It could flower into a poisonous plant like a lilly (gain poison type)
Or it could even become the corpse plant the corpse plant smells awful so he could also gain a poison type, but due to its name dark or ghost?

Hard to argue that this isn't Aerial Ace...

Hard to argue the SLASHES themselves don't look like Night Slash, and it hits twice (The animation, not the move itself.) Something I've barely seen Aerial Ace do. And before anyone brings up 'But it doesn't make any super effective sounds!' maybe GF isn't... you know... didn't fit it in the trailer to confuse us?

ALso i'm Sure Froakkie used Acrobatics or CC, both nice and useful moves A Water/FLying or Water/Fighting Froaks isn't too Farfetch'D.

That would be hilarious to me, not so much for many other people.
Adding Normal to an natural elemental (Fire/Grass/Water/Electric) type seems a bit silly to me, but I know Grass/Normal has been done (and when it was revealed I was confused for a moment).
It just doesn't sound right in my head. Haha.

But you know, it wasn't a starter, and so weren't Girafarig and Bibarel.
I hope Fennekin becomes part Psychic or Ghost to continue the kitsune/fox/jackal tradition. Zoroark line, Lucario line, Ninetales line. Er, were there any in Gen 2 and 3?
