Seems we need a little refresher on speed stats on starters:
Ranked:
1. Sceptile (120)
2. Serperior (113)
3. Infernape (108)
4. Charizard (100 SPD, which is overall good but not in competitive playing)
5. Typhlosion.

So Grass is overall the one with more extreme values having the faster one, Water is average but never hit the 200 line and Fire has the more amount in the top.
So I believe this time Foraking will be the fastest around with 115-120 on speed.

I don't really hate him but he's my least favourite starter Pokemon. In my fanfic that I'm gonna do about PokeFrance, he's probably going to be the hated one lol. Although, I don't hate Froakie myself, in this gen of Pokemon starters I've actually really liked them all. I suppose you could call him "adorkable".

Me too. I prefer focus instead of mixed, but that's just a personal choice.
I've to admit though that after some post here I was convinced that a Special Attacker would be better as long as it has Aura Sphere.

Yep, you're one of the few. I am as well, I've seen so many avatars that are Fennekin, I'm really hoping it's not Fire/Fighting.
But I am hoping Froakie, is Water/Fighting and it's final evolution has High HP/Defense/Special Defense All together, that would actually be really nice with a good-lookin' design!

Ya, me too.
I actually dislike it. It has red stuff (you can call it fur, I will call it stuff) coming out of its ears. Heck even if it was fur, how does the poor thing hear?
And not because of the overuse of that avatar. I disliked it since it was shown.
