Spinda has over a million forms due to its fur pattern. Can the game render unique fur patterns?

Don't mind the new graphics. Not a huge fan of the cel shading though. It's ok, but I liked the 3d in Pokemon Colosseum and the Lugia model that was used in Soul Silver. Overall though, the game itself looks like it's going to be pretty good.

I think it was just to show off the pokémon. If the cutscenes were like that, it would be awesome.

We've already had a few in previous games, like in HG/SS where you summon your respective cover legendary, or in B/W2 where Reshiram/Zekrom and Kyurem have that disagreement and Ghetsis tries to murder you with icicles. There's definitely going to be more of this in X/Y.

I know the game hasn't been shown enough to show its potential glory, but it looks worse than the previous game.. If we have a full number new Pokemon in this generation we will have over 600 Pokes in total... It looks terrible.

My one little nit pick is the circles the pokemon stand on for two reasons. One is there existence, it stands out and I wish they got rid of them and rendered the whole battle in such detail in stead of a floor of green between the two pokemon. But its probably like that for technical reasons

The second thing is how the circle comes out from the pokemon. Surely that grass has been there the whole time. still minor nitpicks and sorry if this is the wrong thread. seems like the right one

What do you find that's so bad about it graphics wise?

Don't like the cel shading, and some of it in terms of the graphics needs to be polished a bit more, but it looks ok enough so far.

@ Charizardfan900: Kind of noticed the circles too. Think they are in Black and White 2 as well... might go and double check on that tonight just to double check.

I agree why not just have them stand on the environment they're in?

But overall, graphics have drastically improved from what I've seen so far. And it looks like they've made some really unique battle animations where the pokemon actually do things for each attack. Before they would just like vibrate or lunge forward etc. for different kinds of attacks. This time it seems totally unique.

I hope the Music does not change to much, like the Battle theme and stuff. Other then that, they can update the pokemon cries and other stuff.

Also I am kind hoping the Pokedex is in 2d, or the pokemon stat pages are. That way we can still get some 2d sprite. I don't think that will happen, but I am hoping it is lol.

Then don't buy it, pokemon is about capturing diferent pokemon and using them in battle if you don't like that, why have you been a pokemon fan?

To me and probably to most pokemon fans the more the merrier if thats not your thing drop the series.

We never needed one Pokemon to begin with...not a matter of need at all.

The games are here for those who want to play it, not interested, then don't play and move on to something new. They will continue to make new Pokemon each generation, they know a lot of people want that and they will continue to give them that until the franchise dies(Or they decide to call it quits, or most likely, the world blows up).

It was mentioned in the trailer that there are old ones to catch I'm pretty sure. Plus they could have just shown the Starters attacking each other.

Iwata clearly stated in the announcement that there's going to be old Pokemon in this.

We saw a Patrat, a Magikarp, a Kirlia and a Golurk. There was also a statue of a Golurk next to a Paliptoad and it was holding an Evee. There doesn't seem to be anything that indicates this is post game content considering it seemed early in game. I think it's safe to assume it's going to be a mixed dex unless for whatever reason, they decided to flaunt post game content.

Yup and that's what I'm doing. Merely voicing my opinion here. The glory of Pokemon died in Gen 4. RIP true Pokemon, hello crappy ones.
