As mentioned by someone before, the map is more or less cropped to show us the basic areas we go through early until mid-storyline They are trying to keep post-game or later story areas hidden so as not to spoil everything at once. And there's always the clouds to keep us curious.
Well, it looks like we're in France after all. I always wondered how they were going to make the map interesting since France isn't that cool of a shape and it doesn't really have any large bodies of water in it. But it looks like there's a giant river throughout the Karos region and lots of mountains. Not a ton of cities though, but it's probably the size.
Anyone else think that Belgium is in this game?
There's a strange cloud formation on the most upper-right hand corner of the map and there appears to be something beneath the grayish clouds.
I'd like them to include Valencia, and also the name of the town where I lived.
But I think having the League in one of those Roman places would be pretty cool.
Also, they might include a place modelled after those bull-fighting arenas, though I remember it is a lot more common in Spain than in France; maybe a place like the stadiums in BW/2.

Oh yeah, another interesting thought. I noticed that Karos has a lot of rivers.
Anyone else think that we might get riverboats as transport between areas before we get Fly?
Riverboats seems appropriate in this region.
There could even be a riverboat-only accessible area, much like Anville.
Also, I see Gogoat being used as a mode of transportation throughout the more mountainous regions. I went to the Grand Canyon two years ago, and there were many tourists riding horses up and down the canyon, and although they are goats, Gogoats may become a way of navigating mountainous parts of the region. (Maybe even the desert area)
I've always wanted a route that was basically you traveling up a huge river. They could have rapids and waterfalls if they wanted to go all out.
To right the countless wrongs of our day, we shine this light of true redemption, that this place may become as paradise. What a wonderful world such would be...
