A Fighting type eeveelution could be based on really violent classic characters,ones that are brave etc etc and brawny.

I guess they'd use Sylveon to celebrate the 20 years anniversary of Sailor Moon...after all,it is an iconic series.There is a remake appearing in summer.

I guess it could be plausible that Sylveons design is based on Sailor Moon.

I've seen a documentary about a species of wild cat that is so gutsy,one of them was seen killing a leopard or jaguar[can't remember wich] and one of them scared off a pack of wild dogs or something of the sort.The cat is not big,but it's really aggressive and strong.Could be a nice concept for a Fighting type eeveelution as most of them are based on cats among other things.

Well the method of evolution of the Hitmon family is based on Attack and Defense, when one is higher than the other or equal on both. Adding another one is kinda unnecessary IMO.

Unrelated all Pokemon should have a male/female counterpart as i dont believe for a second single gendered Pokemon have to seek out a Ditto produce to offspring

Kinda defeats the purpose on why we don't have previous Hitmon evolution if other Stats are used. That's why we have the incense to compensate for the lack of baby Pokémon on some (e.g. Snorlax, Mr. Mime etc.) or the introduction of new stones to create new evolution since those new Pokémon were not made by GameFreak yet.

But then again we have Piloswine and Lickitung who can learn moves that supposedly triggered an evolution but that didn't happened before since Mamoswine and Lickilicky were not made yet.
