I think when it comes to Pokemon you have to pretend that certain Pokemon and Evolution meathods existed since way back in Gen 1 when they didnt lol

Yeah some other methods didn't exist that's why GameFreak added incense, new stones, trade with new items to justify the discovery of a new evolution.

On the Hitmon side maybe they can add a new item to hold and use the Stats to evolve Tyrogue into, let's say, a Hitmonchuck.

Eevee with it's dream world ability will can evolve between Sylveon and ???eon, as long as it holds the item.

I know item-holding evoloution is nothing special, but without it in my theory, a DW Eevee couldn't evolve into Sylveon or ???eon without it. But I like the ABility based evo thing (Congrats who made that, sorry forgot who you are!), so I added that in.

In my hopes, Sylveon would have High Speed (Jolteon's OK, but the only other stat I see Sylveon having highest is Sp. Attack, which IS taken.) and the Fighting one gains Attack. Flareon sucks, 'nuff said.

The Sylveon rarity thing might stem from the fact Female Eevee are less common and more wanted :P

And for people who're doubting a Sylveon male-like counterpart, the basic plot for the short is Pika helping an Eevee impress a Sylveon. What better way then to evolve into a powerhouse?

I like the Hitmons because all of them look different, compared to Eevee. They always stay fox/cat/dog or whatever Eevee is.

Yes, Sylveon Types please. And a Male Eevee. The Eevee in the short is trying to woo(bat) her (Sylveon) and it can impress via evoloution!

A Sableye evo wouldn't go amiss either.

Even though the anime doesn't relate too much to the games, I think that's something that raised my eyebrow when I saw it subbed. Which is why I'm thinking it involves gender.

The short's Eevee is gonna try to woo the Sylveon sister, right? I'm sure such a beautiful Pokemon wouldn't go off with such a weak pre-evolved Pokemon, so what if Eevee Eevolves to impress her. But not into any old Eeveeloution, I'm talking about a new, more masculine Eevo! It matches with Sylveon being girly, and apparantley it's bows represent a woman's XX chromosomes, a supposed major theme in these games. But, we're missing the male 'XY' chromosomes, so why not make a masculine Eevo, and give it a Tie to represent the Y and perhaps a bow or star on it to represent the X.

I actually really love this idea! But keep the appearance of the other Eeveelution a secret until after the movie has premiered... It's a good thought.
