    To expand on this idea:
Water moves to dilute dishes that could tun out untastefully salty.
Fire moves heat up dishes that must be warmed quickly, but lose flavor if they're cooked too long.
Grass (herbs) and Steel/Rock (minerals) moves to make dishes more healthy.
Dragon moves to add Spicy Flavor.
Flying moves to add Dry Flavor.
Poison moves to add Sour Flavor or Bitter Flavor.
Dark/Normal moves to add Sweet Flavor.

I was thinking of that to be honest, but I didn't want to make it feel limited to only certain Pokemon. I seriously hope an idea like this is done, becuase I feel it could work well for Pokemon.

Well maybe this cooking contest can have a list of actions for each category of dish (spicy, bitter, sweet) and you can give your Pokémon four of the actions and they create dishes that amuse the judges.

    4th place - no prize
3rd place - berry of some sort
2nd place - Friendship raised and berry
1st place - Friendship raised, and the dish you make gets packaged and given to you (maybe like the poffin case, but this dish case holds up to 3 dishes.

Effort Dishes - Give you 3 EVs in the stat depending on what kind of effort dish
Health Dishes - A Pokémon is resistant to any status-inflicting moves for a time (strength of the dish determines how many times it will persevere against these moves, also loses effect once the Pokémon is entered into a Wi-Fi or Wireless battle)

Not sure this would be a good idea, first of all, spider webs probably wouldn't be too common because there are few Pokemon that could make them. Second, they may not even add much, if they're just another obstacle for you to get past, it'd be pointless. HMs need to have more of a use beyond clearing random obstacles in order to be worth using.

So basically the same except with coded sprites? IDK. Fly is somewhat useful right now, but I feel like it could be more useful. I'd like it if you could use it to explore the skies.

If you mean being able to move freely in 3 dimensions, I'm not sure that could work, you'd need separate controls to go up or down since the Circle Pad is only designed for 2 dimensional movement.

Using Strength to get through cracked walls doesn't really make sense. At any rate, I think Strength is fine, boulder puzzles are more than enough reason to have this HM with you. Dig would be better for implementing this "cracked walls" idea.

"Certain spots to propel upwards"? This doesn't make any sense, Waterfall already does this. At any rate, Waterfall definitely needs more use to remain an HM, it's not really that useful. In fact, since we already have two more useful Water type HMs (Surf and Dive), I'd say downgrade this to TM. They could get away with it, but they'd have to be careful about how they design the levels, they can't make situations where you have to go down a Waterfall from the main path without providing an alternate path back up, otherwise you could easily trap yourself.

You have two choices to earn BP in BW2: the Battle Subway and the PWT.

A few criticisms for these ideas:

-Many rocks and minerals are toxic, so Rock/Steel types couldn't really make dishes more "healthy".
-Flying types don't really strike me as "dry", Ground would be better for that.
-Dark type moves don't really strike me as sweet either.

I would share this at the Create/Rename/Change Anything and Everything thread but not many go there so I thought I share it here:

    New TM: Growth Slap
    Replaces Echoed Voice

    Type: Normal
    Category: Physical
    Power: 50
    Accuracy: 100
    PP: 10
    Priority: 0

Flavor Text: The user slaps the opponent with a mysterious power. If the opponent faints upon this move, the user will gain more experience points. It even hits Ghosts types.

    Experience point increases x1.2

Distribution: Every Pokemon like Protects distribution.

One thing I am looking forward to is when you are inside someone's home and you see their pokemon running around. I think it will be amusing/interesting in 3D
They should make a Ground/Water Pokemon designed off of a Camel

I don't like it because it would be useless competitively.

Why would you use this competitively? It's meant for ingame purposes like False Swipe, Cut, and Strength.

You mean Feint and Shadow Force right?

And yes, I agree, it's annoying when your opponent gets three Protects/Detects in a row and more ways to hit it would be beneficial to lowering its use.

heres a move i think would be great

    Iceberg
    Ice type
    Power: 100
    Acc: 100
    15% change of Freezing
    Hits 1 target

Flavor Text: The user summons a massive iceberg and hurls it at a single foe. Slight chance of Freezing

That's a really interesting move you got there. Sounds like it could be a killer physical move.

Everyone is thinking about attacking moves, how aout some status moves? I want an ice move that can freeze an opponent without luck.

    Ice Prison
    Ice type
    Power:--
    Accuracy: 100
    Freezes one Pokémon
Has 5% chance of freezing all opponents in double and triple battle

Flavor text: A freezing wind that encases everything in ice that it touches

See the problem with a move like this, is that there's already spore, wich is also extremely abuseable.
And seeing as people don't follow Sleep Clause, this move I can see being restricted in some way.
Though this would be a cool idea.

Personally, I would like to see more of a reason for Attract/Cute Charm to be used.
    Maybe a move called

    Passion
    Normal Type.
    Power: --
    Accuracy: --
All pokemon on the field that are infatuated lose 1/8 of there life per turn.

This isn't too abuseable with out mean look, but it gives Attract/Cute Charm a bit of a niche.

True, also Random Match-up provides some BP. But it's just that the Battle Subway is pretty boring. Also, the Battle Frontier had like 5 different buildings with different 'game types' which was very enjoyable

I would love another physical Water type move, that is above 90.

    Rapid Rush
    Type: Water
    Att: 100
    PP: 5
    Acc: 100

Has a chance to make the opponent confused.

    Tornado
    Type: Flying
    Att: 35
    PP: 15
Acc: 90 (I think Fire Spin and Whirlpool should have it bumped up to this)

    Venopunch
    Type: Poisen
    Att: 75
    PP: 15
    Acc: 100

    Gravel Stomp
    Type: Rock
    Att: 120
    PP: 5
    Acc: 100

    Haunt
    Type: Ghost
    Att: 60
    PP: 10
    Acc: 100

Lowers Defence and Special Defense of a Pokemon that has a status condition

    Combustion
    Type: Fire
    Att: --
    PP: 10
    Acc: --

The user generates a heat inside itself that raises it's Defense, Special Defense and Speed

    Ignite
    Type: Fire
    Att: 50
    PP: 20
    Acc: 90

The user ignites the foe, but this may raise it's speed.

More coming soon...if I can be bothered

I think id like it better if it raised Defense, Sp.Attck, and Speed, instead becoming bulky and fast..

Yea but that's way to OP. Lvl this pokemon on speed and after the first combustion you would be able to immediately do another because of the speed increase. Which leaves you with 3 doubled stats. That's like thinking of a Ghost pokemon with a move like "soak" making the opponent a normal type LOL

What I'd like to see for X & Y is a walk-with-your-own pokemon Streetpass compatibility feature. It would be something similar to the Pokewalker, except it'd be in your 3DS while it'll be on sleep mode. While you are out for the "stroll", you may encounter other trainers, wild pokemon battles, hidden items (not literally HM's, but you should know what I mean as I'm referencing this to the Pokewalker) etc.

In addition to that, you may be notified of any of these situations through the notification sensor/light, and as soon as you open your 3DS back up, the battle, item search, etc. will pop up on the screen, thus the rest is up to you.

I've been thinking about that for a while, and I have my hopes up for something similar, maybe better.

How about give poison and bug a resistance against Dragon-type attacks?
That would make Dustox and Venomoth, and Beedril more usable.

Sounds gimmicky. If Bug gained resistance from Psychic, then that would make sense as Psychic is weak to Bug. Aside from Dustox, Venemoth can hold off competitively with Quiver Dance and Bug Buzz.

Dustox w/ Shield Dust(no flinching, or second affect parayzle/burn/freeze) can be used competitively, with a combination with Quiver Dance, Iron Defense, Roost, and Bug Buzz, it can go all out in UU NU RU tiers.

Aside from Dustox's awesomeness, Gen VI could make more powerful poison types.
