    Finally! having the ability to fight with LIVING Pokemons! No more imagining how would it be like to see a Pikachu fighting IRL*
    I can actually use one fully modeled !
    In gen I they didn't do anything! just sprites stuck there and looked horrible and we fell inlove.
    now you're getting a full size living Pokemon and you've got complains?!?

    I hope for a whole new Battle mechanism (the lack of HB bars gives me hope)
    I hate the fact that competitively wise I can't use some moves on some pokemons cause they are SP.A moves.
    I hope for a whole new thing!
    like...using a certain type move (spa or att) would increase a pokemons expertise in taht area !
    So like you can train a Turtwig to have really high speed (of course pokemons are limited by stats but in a different way to limit them but not with so much math ) !
    And as they evolve their potential increases as well as they can reach new highs of power instead of gain +6 Sp.A ..
    Ev training is a nice Hard-core feature but i wish I would be redone to my idea above.

    I want training a Pokemon to feel more realistic other then Mathematical ...

    I've got so many expectations that are about to be shattered but I'll keep them up until nintendo says otherwise !

    I feel like the point of HMs now is just to point out that they are key items. They are needed for completing the game, so they give them another name and the inability to throw them away to make it obvious that they are important. That's how I see it at least.

    Minor observation, but you know those swinging ropes in that forest/jungle area? It looks like you can climb those ropes as well, if you look closely at the ropes, it shows where you need to stand to use the ropes. But for the one behind the character, there's one marker right behind the character and the other is on the level below, meaning you have to climb them. What is this, Donkey Kong Country?

    If anyone noticed, the character drops his sunglasses in the trailer as he swings on the vine. I wonder if the sunglasses have a special feature which maybe becomes disabled at that point. (Kind of reminds me of the eyeglass from XD, where the character can see the shadow Pokemon)

    My first thought when I saw this trailer was MMORPG, but it seems that it isn't such, but I wonder if this game will have some MMORPG features?

    Well the player does have more forms of transport and looks to be more mobile with the vine swinging and roller skates. I wouldn't mind Surf becoming a TM and us just using a Surfboard with various modifications afterwards to allow us to cross Whirlpools/go up Waterfalls. Shears for CUt, Scuba equipment for Dive. Every HM apart from Fly can be replaced by an object.

    But how fun would that be if in a world of pokemon, you do everything yourself? I think it makes much more sense to showcase a pokemon's abilities. And after all, when it comes down to it, all pokemon are actually used for in the games is for serving the trainer. As horrible as that sounds, it's kind of part of the game haha.

    I'd just like them to take advantage of the new art style. They can show the trainer doing much more dynamic things, as shown by the rope swinging in the trailer. That and HMs really need to be toned down or otherwise made useful moves. Increase Strength to 100 power, get rid of Cut etc.

    Okay, now the gameplay is something I'm wondering about the most. It looks so different than the others, where's the HP bar and stuff? Maybe at the bottom screen? I guess more will be revealed later on. :/

    I actually always hoped they would be a little more detailed with the specific pokemon using an HM outside of battle, like showing a pokemon in the overworld using cut etc. Of course this wouldn't work too well for surfing because there are really small pokemon that can learn surf and it would be pretty strange for a trainer riding on a tiny little pokemon

    I wonder what the evil team would be. I can imagine them being team E or something like that, for team Evil? I don't know, but I guess they would be after Y or X. I also wonder what their (the legendaries) past is like, are they friends, enemies? xD

    i wonder if they'll still have the tm flash. sense the game is viewed from ground level, it would just be to confusing and pointless to add fog or make a cave extremely dark.
    this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the tail, and ending with a grin.

    This is just speculation here, but what if the games had two separate storylines, akin to LOZ seasons/ages? This already kind of happened in Ruby/Sapphire, but it would be cool if these new games took it to the next level. It seems like something revolutionary is bound to happen here, in addition to the main gimmick of 3D.

    How do you guys think the overworld being 3D will affect Routes and Towns/Cities will they be longer and Larger now?

    Not going to happen. HP bars disappear during animations, they have for quite some time now.

    So, am I the only one hoping that at some point in the game (the climax against the evil team perhaps?) you get to fight on a barricade?

    That wont happen. Some Pokemon are way too tiny, and of course they then have to program separate animations and perching positions for the trainer model.

    It is still on a grid, you can tell as much from the level design and just by watching. The movement is the same as B/W. You move on a grid, but that camera will change positions.
