Flareon needs a physical Fire-type priority attack to have some kind of threat, but besides that it can't do anything. Its speed is to mediocre to really be a physical sweeper, the best it could be used for is a revenge kill, but that's only if it would get a physical Fire-type priority.

Sadly, poor that will never be in the same ranks as its other brothers and sisters.

magikarp is much more usable than flareon in my opinion he could sweep anyone he desires.
flareon should get some new moves this gen or a stat change or something

    Ask me stupid stuff

    flareon is definitely broken
he has no way to stay in battle without getting utterly annihilated
also his speed keeps him from doing any sweeping

That's not what broken means in this definition.

Besides do you guys expect all the 655 Pokemon to be pure offensive?

Its Defense is the problem, but Special Defense is another thing.

I do remember someone had brought up more tutor moves like Flare Blitz and Brave Bird. I'd love if we had more interesting moves as tutor moves in X and Y.

    Why not Chansey? I'm saddened.

Anyways remove Moody's evasion boosts and cut Spore's accuracy to 55%.

well i use chansey eviolite and a shuckle guard split combo
why cut spores accuracy? it's a fairly rare move to begin with i think the people who are special enough to earn it deserve its accuracy

Personally, I'm very confused on how Flareon's stats relate to XY Gameplay...

As am I, this metagame discussion is making me a bit sick.

So, anyone expecting them to bring back Vs. Seeker?

It'd be nice, granted I never used it much, but now I am definitely starting to notice a need for it in BW2, since it's getting harder for training, for me at least.

Not a fan of the item but I would like it to return to please almost everyone due to the ability to rematch trainers when you want.

I don't think I'd really need it. Audino was shown in the trailer, which means you can most likely catch it in the wild, so I guess I'm training against the Audino once again.

I'm hoping for a mixture of the Vs. Seeker and Audino Genocide grinding, as it will add variety and is a good way for people who are patient and impatient.

Maybe they'll implement a better X-Transiever system? I liked how they made it usable in-game in BW2. Maybe add onto that?

My humanity will corrode away... Until I'm just a monster...

Also fix the Exp system that was screwed up in Gen V; If your Pokemon were higher than the opposing Pokemon, then you would receive less experiences upon defeat in Unova.

Only as long as we don't get random NPCs calling to tell us their Rattata is in the top percentage of Rattatas.

Yeah, this was really annoying, it made grinding a lot harder (particularly in the early game). Hell, we wouldn't really have much of a need for Audino if they didn't **** up the EXP system the way they did. I do like getting the extra EXP boost for fighting overleveled Pokemon, though, so maybe they could make it so you get a boost if your Pokemon is underleveled compared to your opponent, but if it's greater than or equal to the opponents level, you get a fixed amount of EXP regardless of level.

What's wrong with it, though? I personally prefer it and find it makes a lot more sense - of course a Level 80 Pokemon would gain less experience from defeating a Lv 20 Pokemon than a Lv 10 Pokemon would upon defeating a Lv 20 Pokemon.

And yeah I'd like to see the VS Seeker return as well, to add a bit of variety to levelling up Pokemon instead of just Audino hunting.

The first gyms in both BW1 and BW2 are a great example of what's wrong with it. The wild Pokemon at that point in the game are way too low leveled to be much use for grinding, by the time you get to about Lv. 10 or so, you have to fight through about 20 more of them just to get to the next level which makes grinding take forever. It's especially annoying in BW2 because the only Fighting type they give you to use against Cheren doesn't learn a decent Fighting move until Lv. 15, and you'll be grinding off Lv. 7 Pokemon a good hour or so to get that far.

I'm going to be honest right now, I had not even noticed that there was a problem with the EXP system. ._.
