A Staraptor. I've always liked the final evolution of a region's basic bird. Staraptor just kinda sticks out for me. Plus I can ride it and it can hunt on it's own.

Ampharos is such a sweet and gentle Pokemon that I couldn't NOT pick it.Plus it would give off light so I can read, no matter where we are.

I'd probably go with Umbreon. Most of the interpretations of the Pokemon in real life that I have come across leave them looking scary as hell. Give me a furry companion who has a beautiful black and yellow coat, i'm fine with that.

Probably Metagross, for the combination of strength, intelligence and mobility (flying saucer whoop whoop). Same would go for Reuniclus (sans mobility), and Drifblim would be fun to have just to hitch a ride and float off somewhere every once in a while.

Garchomp for it's strength and size. Plus he would be a great friend to have when I'm in trouble or something of that nature.

In real life I would favor a Pokémon I could fly around with. So I would be really happy with a Skarmory, Flygon, Archeops or Hydreigon.
