As for feminine-looking guys, I have no qualms with them. Some of my favourite male characters are actually very feminine-looking guys, though not in Pokemon (and not based on looks, in case some of you get the wrong idea).

It's funny how Brock is pretty plain in the anime when he's not flirting with people, yet they make him a total bishounen in HGSS... a bit like what they did to Misty.
