[ ~ SUSPENDED as of 2/8/2013 ~ ]
I think I have to suspend Project Lavender for the time being. The classes I’m taking
aren’t really allowing me time for it… my anatomy & physiology teacher is fantastic
and also a hard-***. It takes days for me to study the material properly (I’m no good
with textbooks) and I can’t really manage both the class and the project, especially
when tests pop up. So I must drop the one of lesser importance. I fully intend to
come back to it later… the main purpose of the project actually took effect though
and that was to get me drawing every day. It has become habitual.
For now I wish to pursue other artistic endeavors and studies especially in
landscapes and color theory so this is what you might see from me over the next few
months (if you follow me on Tumblr or DA). We’ll see where I am after classes are
over and whether I feel like kicking the project into gear again in June… otherwise
it’ll be in October when X&Y hit. Thanks for sticking with me so far, Serebii users! I
hope you understand. See you soon!

Greetings and welcome to Project Lavender! I must say I've been thinking
about doing this ever since the wonderful Souku first started his own one-a-
day Pokémon project last year. I made several attempts in 2012 to kick-start
my own project but none ever made it past a few days. I just couldn't get
inspired and keep up with it. Well, this year I feel very differently. I put a lot of
money into buying a pro tablet (a Wacom Intuos5 if you must know) last year
so dangit, I'm going to use the heck out of it!
So what's my spin? Well, similar to Souku's Project 365, it's RNG based. I only
know what Pokémon I'm drawing next after I've finished the current one. I will
draw one Pokémon a day until I run out. My inspiration? Psychedelia.
Confusion. Madness. Comedy. Of course, it's called Project Lavender
after Lavender Town. The Pokémon I'll be drawing aren't necessarily meant to
be scary or disturbing, but I do hope they can provoke some sort of reaction be
it a slight giggle or a "wtf?" or even "I hate this thing."
To answer a question you might already have, yes, Generation 6 Pokémon will
be shuffled into the mix as soon as X & Y are released (or as they are
revealed). I have already drawn the 3 new starters, but I don't know when
Xerneas and Yveltal will pop up.
Now, you! You can help by commenting and giving me feedback. My
inspiration and motivation is more likely to stick around if I have some support
to back up my efforts! Don't worry, I can take any criticism you throw at me.
At the time of posting, I have already drawn 11 Pokémon. I started on January
1, 2013. Thank you for even clicking on this thread! May your curious eyes be
entertained.

Did in bursts while watching the Super Bowl. There's something off about the color
that I just couldn't seem to fix. Ah, well.
