@ Bestgamepearl: How about a Ferrothorn? He us pretty viable in Trick Room, and he can destroy Gastrodon and take a lot of hits from non HP Fire Cress.

Well, if you want to be cheap about it, you could use Amoonguss instead of Ferrothorn for the slowest spore in the game.

Edit: Actually, I just assumed you were using trick room because of the post you quoted, but looking back at your post where you asked for suggestions, it seems you aren't. Sorry about that, Ferrothorn is probably better.

Hahah soon, no worries! I'm a little busy right now, as I am currently editing my podcast and getting my own team ready, but don't worry. It should all be up by tomorrow. (:

How is everyone's preparation's going? Teams ready? Practice ongoing?

I have 5/6 of my team bred, and I'm EV training what I have while I look for parents for my last one. I also might swap out one of my team members for something else. Just getting some feedback and doing a little playtesting before I head off in that direction. I hate finding things out like that midway.

i tested mine a bit and it idnt go that well and idk what to do >:

I'm in and I'll try and fill the form out. I've been getting alot of practice in on the GBU. Weather teams seem not to be a problem anymore. Folks are going more towards a balanced team than worrying about weather power. TR teams are still a pain to deal with. I'm still messing around with 2 slots on my team. I'm running a rain support/offensive team. Gotta trade over a few pokes to make the team really work.

That's kinda strange, and yeah TR was a pain for me in the winter tournament, had to be very careful with who and what i was using. Slip one turn and it was basically over

the past few days I've been running into leech seed and (blasted it brain farting on the name of the move but it's where you plant roots) ferrothorns and blissey combo's.

I don't remember seeing that at all last month xD How quickly trends can change in VGC lol. And i think you mean ingrain

Well, I don't see too many teams that have an all out weather team, but a lot of them run a weather+weather abuser offensive core. I've seen ALOT of Tyranitar+Excadrills, and Politoeds+Kingdras out there, so be sure to keep them in check.
