Divinepedia lied to you, Flintlock's range is not best. Best range title goes to Earthmaul Club, then Laser Staff. Also, iirc, it only has the most powerful SCS, and Rose has the most powerful DCS.

Huh, I knew that about the range before I quoted it because I've seen it 200+ times in the loading screen. Had no idea about the Rose Staff, I never would have guessed it was powerful at all. Never seemed too strong to me.

Anyone want to play right now? I have a 4 day weekend ahead of me ^.^

EDIT: Just got the first magnus club I might ever use. 5 range stars, 2 melee stars, +4 Fd Charged shot. What's a good power set for this?

Well, my PC was broken yesterday, and still is, so I didn't check the forums. I'm still struggling with it, but I'll try to be online today. Also I was busy yesterday with valentine's day stuff :3

Jeez, I've forgotten how to spell Pheonix. ANYWAY...

Pheonix Arm: Value 299 (Ughhhh). 5R 5 1/2M. Dash Continous fire +4 and Shot Homing +1 (+1s are useless >:|).

Not great, but I can't seem to get anything good ATM.

Already put Homing Boost, Energy Charge, Tirelessness and Aries Armor on, but open to suggestions.

I don't tend to use them at the same time. It's usually Tirelessness and Aries Armor or Homing Boost and EC.

I'm pretty sure my Taurus Arm: Value 253. R2 5 1/2M. Melee Combo +4 (don't need EC with this) Paralysis +1 and Speed +1 beats my Taurus Arm: Value 248. 2R 5 1/2M. Freezing +3 and Running Speed +2. It does, right?

Equip Quick Charge, set up a shield in front of you and use dash cont. fire to attack. If you are close to your opponent you can try to kill them with your shields, this works best in a closed area. Another good power to have with it is Tirelessness, since you want to attack as long as you can and tiring out will be a problem. Can also equip Reflect Barrier in case you can't put up a shield in time (it has many uses :P), Counter for lols, Warp to escape quick melee guys. Be careful when facing cannons, since their shots explode on contact and will do so when hitting your shields, so you will most likely be hit if you follow the approaching technique I described before.

I always thought that if you got hit you automatically hit back, regardless of melee. Now I think of it, that's most likely wrong...

Equip Counter when you expect yourself to be hit :P It's not actually a really good power imo, more of a gimmick.

Hm, ok. Does that count for ranged shots? Like, if I'm 50 feet away from a guy and he snipes me with a Lancer Staff, does he get hit as well? And for how much?
