Oh what's that, you are 50 coins ahead of someone who has the same amount of stars as you? Guess what time it is, Chance Time! Oh look, you are trading your stars with the person in last.
What's that, you're shooting these people? Let me help, buy running directly in front of your gun.
You want to win? Too bad, blue shell time!
Beyond that Battletoads and Double Dragon: The Ultimate Team is one.

Pretty much every game I ever play makes me angry in someway. Most of the time it's just me yelling at the screen because an enemy has just killed me that I thought should've already been dead. Something that comes to mind recently is Bioshock- shooting a Big Daddy (with nearly no health) with an armor piercing bullet, only for it to survive and hit me.
Another thing I'll often become angry about my character does something I didn't want it to do or NPCs suddenly act different then usual. Arkham City works for both of these things. Trying to move in and out of cover during Predator and the character ends up jumping out in front of someone or does something else weird and I miss my chance at takedown. And the NPCs randomly being able to spot you from vantage points, or walking a different path then usual, sucks.
Strangely, although I count Arkham City as my 2nd favorite game, it's probably made me rage more then any other.
Yes. Something that comes to mind is PMD escorts. Going on to a new floor and landing right in a monster house, or doing on escort in a dungeon that has pokemon with room effecting moves, or losing your escort to a floor grate. I'm thinking 'yeah, I'm in good shape' then the escort is dead in like 5 seconds.
lol, I'm going for Brass Balls right now (just entering Olympus Heights) and the little sister escort is the only part left I'm dreading.
I'm surprised it took this long for someone to mention it. I don't do competitive, but the Battle facilities have greatly pissed me off at times. I've occasionally tossed my game across the room after losing (although that's only if there's something soft for it to land on).

Scribblenauts could be frustrating when things didn't work like they were supposed to... can't say I enjoyed the game...
Although I liked it, I often got frustrated with F-Zero GX. Mario Kart Wii can also be annoying, particularly if a blue shell messes you up right at the end.

Gears of War. Fighting RAAM on anything higher than Casual.
Halo 2 co-op on Legendary.
Diablo. Once you hit the Caves and everything after.
I want to say the ending for Mass Effect 3, but it 1) looks like I'm still on the now old bandwagon of hating Bioware (something I never was on), 2) didn't ruin the series for me, 3) frustrated me as a writer and a loyal Mass Effect fan more than made me angry, and 4) was kind of made tolerable with the Extended Cut and Leviathan DLC.
Guess the majority of the people here are or were only fans on the main game, going around, catching the critters, and battling NPCs. The battle facilities might be tough but online is brutal as you have accepted the harsher restrictions of Smogon's domain. The strategies are hammered into you and the flaws are always pointed and stretched out to the point of being mocked. Charizard's awful despite the fact with the boost of Solar Power; he has almost as much Special Attack as Chandelure? Okay, I get it, stop saying that it's not good every chance you get! Luckily, I found a loophole and now I battle using only one type on my team. It's a game, we want to win but more importantly, we want to have fun.
It's the other way round for most competitive battlers. Winning first, fun second. I do agree that competitive battling is one of the most horrendously complicated things I've ever done. I only ever have the time to keep up with the current metagame, make a team and battle during the Summer holidays. Considering that after hours of work the games can be decided by a dice-roll definitely makes me angry.
Mario Strikers Charged definitely gets me annoyed by how the higher level goalkeepers are nigh-perfect and how the AI manages to score cheap goals from the near the half-way line. Oh, and items. They really annoy me because it introduces more luck into the game and there is never a large enough break in action to action for me to see my own items. The pitches as well annoy me in that they all must have an interfering gimmick like ice.
Otherwise, not much. If a game truly got me controller-breaking angry I would've stopped by then. After all, I play them for fun. Of course, there is nothing better than scoring a skillshot with Hammer Bro. or hopping over challenges with Toad.

Pokemon Drama Island - Episode 4: Extreme Makeover: Pokemon Home Edition
My popular story from FF.net has come to the forums! Joy!
34 Pokemon come arrive to an island to take part in a reality show that could get them rich and famous! However, can they survive the harsh gauntlet of challenges up ahead?
Spoiler:- Want my Friend Code?:
That's why I don't play competitively. If I'm going to do it, I want to have fun, but to do that, I have to win at least fairly often. But to have the skills to do that would take too much time (for me at least) planning teams, breeding pokemon, etc., so I don't screw with it. And I'd want to use the pokemon I like, which I assume wouldn't work. Like Torterra's one of my favorite starters, but I've heard (more then once) that it's horrible competitively.

Muramasa, the Demon Blade.
It's a Hack and Slash game. For the Wii. The bosses take like 9 minutes to beat, if you're quick.
...There is a mode that allows you one hit point.
It is so frustrating.
Thanks to Gladeshadow!
I expected at the beginning, some one will say like Guitar Hero, Ninja Gaiden , Mortal Kombat, Need for Speed, etc. But so far, no result from those games. And they are quite annoying sometimes.
