rate my sandstorm team

[Odin VI]

will be using this team mostly to battle against friends, battle subway & random wifi.

(this is my first time writing up a team on forums so sorry for the lack of detail)

•Accelgor @ item: Focus Sash
•Ability: Sticky hold
•Nature: Timid
•EVs: 252 Special Atk/252 Speed/4 HP
-Spikes
-Bug Buzz
-Focus Blast
-U-Turn

Accelgor will be the first into battle, depending on the situation i will either try to take the opponent down or i will just set up spikes and U-turn out. the reason i have Accelgor is i really like him and he is one of my favourite pokemon.


•Hippowdon @ item: Leftovers
•Ability: Sand Stream
•Nature: Impish
•EVs: 252 Defence/ 252 HP/4 Special Defence
-Slack off
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Roar/Whirlwind

Hippowdon will come in after the spikes have been set by Accelgor, he will then start a Sandstorm and lay down stealth rock, after that i will either fight the opposition or use Roar/Whirlwind if they counter me.


•Excadrill @ item: Life Orb
•Ability: Sand Rush
•Nature: Jolly
•EVs: 252 Atk/252 Speed/ 4HP
-Sword Dance
-Rock Slide
-Earthquake
-Rapid spin

my sweeper will be Excadrill, he also has Rapid spin to knock anything on my field away.

•Ability: Storm Drain
•Nature: Calm
•EVs: 252 HP/252 Special Defence/4 Special Atk
-Recover
-Energy Ball
-Sandstorm
-Wring Out/Hyper Beam

Cradily is my special wall, also has the move sandstorm incase Hippowdon falls and the weather is changed.only flaw to him is ice moves will be a pain.

•Ability: Levitate
•Nature: Timid
•EVs: 252 Special Atk/252 Speed/4 HP
-Focus Blast
-Shadow Ball
-Psychic/Sludge Bomb
-Fire Punch

my spinblocker/special sweeper to counter anything with rapid spin and them nasty fighting/ice types.

•Ability: Torrent
•Nature: Jolly
•EVs: 252 Speed/252 HP/4 atk
-Waterfall
-Earthquake
-Stealth Rock
-Roar

Swampert is my somewhat bulky-secondary physical sweeper. also he is fitted in because i couldnt really find anything else without tilding the weaknesses too far in a certain type.

what do you like/dislike?
what would you keep/change?
swampert was just chucked in there because i couldnt find much that would fit without unbalancing the weaknesses
