Looks like I'm going to have to postpone my new double battle team, since the winter friendly is coming up.

Ubers rotation battles...sound like fun, but I with that it wasn't ubers. Now I'm going to have to soft reset. A lot. Stupid level 70 Dialga...

To be honest, I'm really happy they are letting us use ubers!
I mean, I wanted to use my Groudon and Mewtwo that's been sitting in my Platinum for AGES now. Also, I now have a use of my Genesect! :3

Can't wait for this to start!

When is this tourny?? If its the next one then I'm in big trouble. Hardly no Ubers trained.

Anyhoo I enjoyed this last one. Finished with a 1522 score with a horrible team and horrid playing at times. Would love about a month before the next tourny to plan and train a full team.

I was gonna use a new team but that really didn't work because apparently you need landorus-t to get landorus-t ._.

I've also developed a liking for the Therian forms. Unfortunately, I do not have the dream radar, so I'm stuck only using them on battle simulators.

I believe I read somewhere that the only way to get the reveal glass is to have a Landorus-T with your own Trainer ID, is that correct?

Think I'll give the next one a miss, I don't usually use legendaries and I can see that being a real hinderance when facing ubers most matches. I personally wish they'd do a 6 pokemon 1v1 classic tournament rather than doubles or rotation one day. What's the reason they don't let you use your whole team usually?

Except that all my ubers with good IVs were on my SS version, and that's gone missing...So I'm having to replay Platinum from the beginning as well.

Oh well. At least this tourny finally gives me an excuse to troll with prankster. Though I really want to use Focus Sash Murkrow, it seems like Whimsicott can do almost any job it can better...Oh well, I guess I can live without. Whmsicott is easier to get anyway.

Pokémon cannot use the move Sky Drop or Dark Void during battle.

The tourney's registration starts on February 7th, and goes on till the 14th. The next 4 days are just battling.

The main reason for not having a 1v1 with 6 pokemon is that it is VERY time consuming. That too, those kind of battles open up for stall teams to come into play. I've been in singles battles lasting 2 to 3 hours before. Also, on a personal note, if I get d/c'd on after playing a 6v6 1 on 1, it would discouraging me to keep playing.

First time using ubers competitively since VGC 2010

Yeah, the Kanto only thing sounds very interesting. Kind of a nice twist to gen 1. We've got new abilities, moves, and items that can be used. It'll definately make for a very interesting tournament.

Not quite... since it requires your ID and TID, you can only receive the reflecting glass through purchasing the AR Searcher. But, I'm guessing you could download the therians that you want from PokeCheck to use, but I just don't think you can get the reflecting glass.

Why do I have a feeling that there maybe an event in the future to obtain the therian forms? .-.
