Apparently Charizard has been dozing all the time instead of training like most fans assume. Justification for future loses against Oshawott!

I fail to see the differences in his weight, but the worst is BF Charizard in the frontier battle against Brandon. It wasn't fat but terribly animated.

The games sometimes depict charizard as fat so I don't see the problem.

Charizard isn't fat. If he's fat than that must be Dragonite is a Wailord because it's pretty chubby as well.

The BF Charizard looked fine fighting against Nolan, it was only during it's battle against Brandon that it looked terrible.

BW Charizard actually looks fine, aside from the too rounded belly imo.

I don't see a problem with Lizardon's current weight. Satoshi's Lizardon has always had a gut, unlike the Sugimori art. Where they seem pretty flat-stomached. Only weighs a little less than 200 pounds, a Kairyu weighs a little over 450 pounds.(But that's apparently mostly muscle since the Pokedex says they're muscular, yet fast and agile iirc.) Does it really matter if Lizardon is a little fat? It's meant to be that way, it even learns Belly Drum.

Omg I just realized that Charizard does look fat in the scans. I'm hollering. I hope it's just a design inconsistency and not something more; I mean can you imagine if we learned that Charizard is actually female and is pregnant? I think I would shout like a maniac if that happened. But speaking of the animation, I could've sworn that some people were saying that a certain animation director was in charge of animating this episode and that we could all rest assured that the animation would be top-notch. Well, I'm starting to have my doubts.

I think the neck is too thick for the head is the problem. If the head was bigger it would compliment the rest of the body

I had a hard time drawing Charizard not too long ago (it was only a sketch)... given he's been gone for more the 4 years, we gotta be a little bit lenient, even professionals forget how to draw things sometimes when out of practice :P

Naturally, he's a male since Charla, Liza's female Charizard, has a crush on him. But still, since Oshawott had a crush on a male Purrloin, we can't really tell. He's often refered as a male, so we could guess that... He was confirmed male in the English version, though.

Pokémon in the anime are not "forgetting" the moves. They just don't use it as their 4 main moves. They can still use it if their trainer ask to. May's Glaceon used Shadow Ball, wich was it first move, where Glaceon learned Ice Beam, Iron Tail, Secret Power, Ice Shard and Mirror Coat.

So why does exactly Ash never tell Pikachu to use Volt tackle now? For example, why didn't Pikachu use Volt Tackle against Lucario? If we assume, like you say, that he still know how to use the move. If Ash is the one that doesn't want to use it, that would be a pretty stupid choice.

It wasn't said why Charizard is returning yet. And it's a male, unless Charla is gay and so is Charizard. But that wouldn't fit Pokemon xD.

2. I don't know if you really care about that Charmander (I think you never cared about Charmander ), but look at the background of the gif. It looks like the night, while the fair is during the day. I think Charmander will be there only before Charizard.
