Hardest pokemon to catch?

I think it's Feebas. That sucker is brutal in Emerald.

Rarest? Or hardest to capture? Cuz ive had a couple metagross in giant chasm sweep my level 70+ team while trying to catch it, stupid low catch rates

Srsly though, not sure what my hardest would be, other than most post-game legendaries. Roaming Pokémon can be "hard" if only for the fact they always run away if they aren't caught. The Beldum line's a b!tch because of their low catch rate. Never tried for a Feebas in Emerald or any game for that matter. Might have to give it a go to experience the frustration. xD

Knows only Take Down, which means that it will likely kill itself if you use False Swipe against it.
I miss the situation in R/S/E, where you were just given one for free instead of having to catch it yourself. At least the situation improved somewhat in 5th gen where you have to catch Metang/Metagross instead.

That thing called Metang finally caught one of those. You first think of it as "oh its just a normal wild Pokemon," but nope your wrong. You almost got to treat it as a legendary battle to catch it.

Beldum / metang have catch rate of 3, but aren't exceptionally rare (psuedo legends). Roamers are a pain to catch because you have to chase them and then keep them there long enough to catch them. Entei and raikou even had roar in HGSS to add to it. So i would say them =D

Yeah, catchin that Metang is tough, but I'm gonna say the hardest PKMN to catch seems to be whatever you need to catch (or kill forever) for storyline purposes. Kyogre, Lugia, Palkia,,,

Nobody mentioned Rayquaza in generation 3 yet? Lowest catch rate and it's moveset was horendous. Fly and ExtremeSpeed constantly threw off your momentum, Rest was so annoying making it constantly heal itself over and over again, but the worst part was the devastatingly powerful Outrage that also inflicted confusion upon itself which knocked it out many times.
