    Lightbulb Super effective defence.

    Can anyone tell what that item was that negate the super effective, can you all maybe tell me about?

    There are some berries introduced in Gen. 4 than negated the effects of super-effective moves.

    They didn't negate the moves or the fact that they're super-effective; they just made a super-effective move do less damage.
