Not every game can hit it big like Call of Duty or Halo. Some games just never quite made it.

sadly many of these great treasures are overlooked or overshadowed by other games.

Rayman Origins is seriously underrated, I was surprised so few people play it.

Natural Selection 2 and Ravaged are both fantastic but they seem to get ignored on Steam a lot.

Also Katawa Shoujo is a little overlooked, but that's a bit of a niche genre to begin with.

Team17's Worms franchise never made it that big, but the games did start going backwards since 2000 and still continue to do so, so that's their own fault.

Earthbound. It's a great game and when it was first released no one really played it. Now it's like $100+ for a cartridge. It did decent in Japan though

I can think of a few games that didn't sell well, assuming that what the topic is about.

Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Viewtiful Joe, Klonoa: Door to Phantomile (Wii remake), Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure. There are probably more games that I am missing out but we will be here all day if I start listing them out.

Real Lives is popular in at least one corner of the internet, that you must never visit.

As for a game to contribute, how about Pokemon Snap. It has a cult following, but obviously didn't sell that well, at least not well enough for a sequel (which would be amazing on Wii U with the gamepad as the camera).
