BWS2DA!E4 - Oshawott vs. Dewott [FIRST POST UPDATED 05/08]

They evolved Krabby and had Ash catch Palpitoad, the evolved form of Tympole (though more because the tadpole can't battle properly on land) Buizel had the shotty reason of not evolving because it beat Wake's Floatzel and Chorpish had an even more stupider reason because it's evolved form was a Dark type (and also because it beat it's evolution later on)

I actually don't count Krabby/Kingler, mainly because it was just a lucky chance that case him to evolve (his first battle), and that Palpitoad was only caught in that stage.

Honestly, with Oshawott, I'll be happy with any shred of development they will give him, whether its a new move, evolution, rejectionof evolution, or release.

They can't be since the movie plainly shows Ash still having it unevolved. Ofc it could be that the original mijumaru does evolve so ash dumps it at the island and trades in for a new one.

I think Oshawott will have a battle dewott and its shell was gone in two parts, so Oshawott can then use two blades with one shell

I don't really get why Oshawott should use two blades to battle. I mean that's practically what Dewott does right? It would probably just make more sense to evolve him (which I don't think will ever happen anyway, but it would probably make more sense).

I seem to recall that you like Piplup who, unlike Oshawott, got practically no development. At least Oshawott is doing productive things and continues to slay effortlessly.

That would be interesting, but I'm pretty sure if his shell breaks, it would be replaced somehow (out of the stomach), But really, it's the anime, of course they're bot going to evolve a water type. They hadn't done that since Kingler

He's gotten a decent amount of development throughout BW; he learned Aqua Jet at a Battle Club and spent a couple of episodes learning how to master it, he learned to battle without his Scalchop and succeeded in slaying Stephan's Blitzle, he learned to use Hydro Pump and mastered it quickly, and now he's going to learn more from his battle with Dewott. I honestly don't recall Piplup getting as much development as Oshawott; all I remember is that episode where he didn't want to evolve and of course, tons of fillers, many of which were about him either falling in love or contained scenes showing him being attacked by Gible's Draco Meteor. That doesn't sound like too much development to me. :c
