Didn't care for this episode to be honest. The whole frizzy hair gag has been done to death so I just cringed when Oak's hair got all static-y due to Rotom. I liked the junkyard setting for most of the episode, but the whole "Rotom can enter appliances and cause havoc" thing has been done before and better imo, so it wasn't a completely original story line. I did like that the group used their Ground-type Pokemon to their advantage though. That was smart. As for Oak catching Rotom; it seemed redundant since we're not likely to see Rotom all that often, but whatever.

It's pretty much replaced Ash's Muk during Oak cameos like calls and such, at least it has in Da! since then. Dunno if that's good or bad, we see his own Pokemon now but we get less Muk.

Good episode but it was kind of weird how Professor Eich (Oak) offered them a ride back to KAnto by plane and they rejected to go on more adventures in the islands, not that I'm complaining since I liked DA.

Highlight of the episode was the Rotom shenanigans and Professor Eich catching one.

I must be psychic or something, I was just thinking "I wonder if Ash will remember and bring up the fact he met a Rotom in the Sinnoh region?" just before he said it.

I've gotta say, Oak with a fro was the highlight of the episode, LOL. Interesting too that the rotom had different tastes for the electricity from Pikachu, Emolga, and Stunfisk (not to mention Team Rocket). And poor stunfisk. Stunfisk was not one of my favorite 5th gen game pokemon, but you've got to feel bad for Cilan's here, getting rejected by the rotom and run over to boot.

It was awesome to see Oak catch Rotom. I'm biased since I like Ghost Pokemon but even so it was a good match for him. 7/10

Hee hee, I liked seeing professor Oak appear and how he got frizzy hair cuz of those wild Rotoms. Emolga getting chased by them was funny as well and I'm glad that one of the Rotoms decided to go with Oak. ^^

Eh, I didn't think Oak catching Rotom was necessary since: a) it was such a random species for him, and b) we hardly ever see Oak, so we'll almost never see his Rotom again anyway. :x

It was great to see Okido-hakase out doing some hands-on research on Rotom's form changes since he rarely leaves his laboratory. We had already seen Rotom's ability to infiltrate appliances however, so seeing the Rotom cause havoc at the junkyard felt repetitive, although I liked seeing the Rocket-dan freeze.
