It's just a novity record of noise rock and not meant to be ATOY work.

From what I've listened to I would have to say the What About Now? album from Bon Jovi and this is from a Bon Jovi fan, the thing is he is trying to impress the cool kids, he isn't the same anymore

"Well I'm walking by the red light
Gonna find me all that I'm owed
And I know where I'm gonna be then
When the red light's gonna shine on me"

I only heard the single but I agree with you but Bon Jovi have done things like this before though.

Yeah but I had more pain scrobbing all the songs instead of hearing it tbh.

Speaking of Lou Reed, his album Metal Machine Music takes the cake. It's not even music (literally).

honestly, Lotus by Xtina should've never came to shelf light. I don't get how something could be so generic and such a mess at the same time!

Californication is brickwalled. I found a bootleg that was apparently an unreleased version of the album (it called itself "unmastered," I think, which is a ridiculous description anyway, but I guess was supposed to express that it was a version before the commercial master), and that too was pretty damn loud, and really the only difference at all that I can remember is that the chorus of "Around the World" was different.

What I find funny about Metal Machine Music is that nobody can seem to decide if it was a put-on or not. I certainly enjoy the idea of it being musical trolling, though.

Anything by Ark Music Factory (Rebecca Black, getting downs on friday), Kevin Federline's Playing with fire. (I listened to about 2 mins, over the internet of course) If you bought any of this, shame.

Tricky... I'm not too fond of any of the new stuff I hear by Stone Temple Pilots. I'm assuming that album is going to be hellish and awful. The vocalist change really disappointed me. I wasn't crazy about Wasting Light by Foo Fighters either. Probably thanks to how overplayed Walk became.

I didn't even know about this. I looked it up, and...

Why was this vocalist change apparently a good idea?

But if that's the extent of your "worst album ever" candidates, consider yourself very lucky.

Going from the nice low voice of the original vocalist to the whiny voice of the Linkin Park vocalist really does not seem like a good idea in my books. I think a choice like Matt Berninger would've been a much better idea. However, that is just an opinion.

I suppose. Sometimes I find songs from albums that I despise. But I've never really hated an entire album, or I've never hated an album I bought I suppose.
